A similar, although by the sounds of it, not quite as harsh law as been in force in Victoria since 1989. I had it when I was on P's. It did, amongst other things reduce part of the carnage down there. Vote one for "good thing"

Nil comprehendeh. Stock idle is, according to the magic book, 600rpm. I personally think that's a bit low. 7-800 would be fine.

The lights in mine are pretty good too. Particularly with 100/140 globes....

Nothing is going to bolt in to a KE25. However, I was looking into Mazda diffs before I got Bluey (RX3 etc). Might be worth a look.

Yes, Thrillseekers, I'm back from glorious Townsville. Yes, we did have a slight indiscretion with the pacecar, which involved the wall and a couple of steel posts. Two septators were minorly injured and taken to hospital and released shortly afterwards. Our driver is fine, but badly shaken, and more than a little sore. The Crewman is very unwell. Thanks for the concern, guys. It could have been quite big. R P.S: No pictures as the car was removed VERY quickly, and I wouldn't post them if I had them, anyway! :P

HOw have we come to the conclusion that it is a rear brake problem? is this just because it is "nose diving"??

Congrats.. You're in possesion of a fine quality Aussie Borg warner. Ratios are fairly limited. I think your choices are 4.1 or 4.3. I've never been a fan of the borgs.

Right. The Jap diffs we are talking about, load from the front. 10 bolts or so. Borgs have an inspection plate on the aft side of the diff. Can't miss it. If you look from the back, it has a bunch of big- arsed bolts holding it in. Piccies if you need them

If you have a jap diff, pretty much every thing from 71 to 80 ish with a jap diff will fit. You have the ability to go from 3.9 to 4.5 with a jap center. 4.4 and 4.5 are a bit hard to find though. TRD Brothers have a 5.1. This is all providing you still have a Corolla diff.

Have now tested my tailshaft loop out twice in a week.Ripped the loop out of the floor the last time.

My diesel Pajero has 383mn of torque. something doesn't sound right.
