  2. What gear was it in when they took the figures?
  3. It's also been on another dyno that said it had 60 ATW. I like the top figure.
  4. Depends on the size of the SU's. My 1.5"s were stretched on my 3/4K, and it dyno'd at 82hpATW (116ish at the fly.) 120 is achievable with the right cam and head work.
  5. Sadly, no Cairns this year. The furthest noorth we go is Townsville this year. Leave on Sunday for that one.

  12. If you have a pure unadulterated KE20, the wheel studs will be 4x110 (Mazda RWD) pattern. All Corollas KE30 and newer (including AE86) have 4x114.3 pattern. Hence your current wheels wont fit.

  18. "....This became painfully apparent when Warnock planned to launch the Edsel. Automotive journalists were to drive 75 Edsels from Dearborn, Michigan, to their local Edsel dealers. The cars had to perform without mishap, and couldn't reveal any defects. After all, the car had been the subject of nearly two years of hype, and expectations were high. After a comprehensive testing procedure that took two months to complete, 68 cars were handed over to journalists and driven to their respective destinations. The other seven had to be cannibalized for parts. The average repair bill for each car came to roughly $10,000, which was more than twice the price of the top-of -the-fine Edsel. "
  19. It was classed by the Guiness book of world records as the worst car ever made. 1 in 3 cars had a major defect. Engines seizing, doors falling off, you get the picture.
  20. Actually, I believe the worst car ever made was the Ford Edsel....
  21. If you want to fit an AE86 diff into a KE20, I believe you may have to shorten them if you want a good fit, same as a TA22 diff. Disc brake LSD AE86 diff's are a little thin on the ground, and getting one will be $$$$
  22. Two topics merged for simplicity. R
  23. The member formerly known as Luxobarge.
  24. The argument was about whether drifting was faster through a corner than than not drifting. The answer being no. It maybe far from slow, but it's also far from quick.
