  1. I didn't get the phone call, either.....
  2. My brain started to hurt reading that post. If in future if you would like myself, or any of the more senior members of the forum to reply to you, could you please not abbreviate the spelling in your posts, thereby making them readable to humans. Or, alternatively, read this. Thank you. Rollaclub Mods.
  3. There is a heap of information in here already on this and very similar topics. Searching for it will save you a lot of agro from other members who have already answered this question MANY times, and are starting to get RSI. Here's a couple to get you started: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...2177&hl=3k+head http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...2148&hl=3k+head And, of course, Super Jamies FAQ
  4. For a start, Holden Pursuits are a five stud pattern. As far as I know, Toyota don't do a factory pursuit stlye to fit a KE70 at all, unless AE86 had them as standard. Certainally not 15 inch.
  5. What breed of Toyota are we endevouring to fit them to?
  6. Then you're up for some work. 1.5ish is the biggest bolt in you'll get. Everything else requires modification to mounts, clutch, gearbox.... etc.
  7. Apart from the TRD boys, I don't think anyone in here has ever seen a Tosco tuning manual. We all self tune to the specs of the engine.
  8. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...unleaded+petrol
  9. Yes, you can run them on ULP. There is a few topics in here about it. Searching will find them. Cheers Rob
  10. Your valve springs should be matched to your camshaft. In theory they only need changing if you have more than .400" lift at the spring. I'll say again, unless you give us a good idea of the engine specs, we can't tell you a suggested redline.
  11. Well, we don't build engines to "stages" here. The rev limit depends on what cam you have, what valve springs are in it... etc. It's pointless having an engine with peak power at 5k rpm and reving it to 8k, when changing gears is a far better option. Unless you give us engine specs, can't really tell you anything. R
  12. I refuse to download it on the grounds that most things that ACA do make me vomit. Sensationalist journalism, and channel nine are the worst. Anything can be done with a cheque book....
  13. Okay. As the owner of probably the grunty-est 3K in here, let me advise you of a few things. 1: 3K's will rev, but not as high as you want it to and still be reliable. Not without an AMAZING amount of money being thrown at it. 2: Just because it will rev, doesn't mean it will drift. You need torque. Google it if you have to. 3K= limited torque. 3: Engine RPM is limited by a lot of things. Just because it will get there doesn't mean its doing anything. Research is everything. P.S: This board has a very low tolerance for drifting, unless you're very good at it.
  14. They end up looking like this:
  15. I can only talk about the K40's, but I think they're a strong little box for what they were built for. I had the one gearbox in Dwarf for almost 10years before it let go. Sadly, the replacements haven't been as robust.
  16. Sorry, couldn't help myself..... Click me!!!
  17. I have around 115hp from my 3K, and the 4 speeds hold up reasonably well, however I have had 3rd gear exit stage left on two boxes, when they decided they didn't like being jumped. Word of mouth is that 5 speeds aren't quite as tough as 4 speeds, but they'll still cop punishment.
  18. That, I'll second.... hahahahaha Early Gen III V8s were shockers.... not now... and especially since Gen IV is out! Even better!!!! My realistic dream would be a IGTTE or is it IGGTTE (it's the 2.0 litre 6 cylinder twin turbo) with a Supra 5 speed. That would be NICE! :D The new ones aren't super flash, either. Already replaced an engine in one of our utes due to abnormal vibrations.
  19. Where in Brissie are you? I deal with Brian at Pedders in Geebung. If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you his details. No one brand as far as I know are any better than another.
  20. Fax machine, 27 questions!
  21. I have nylocs and I don't use spring washers. There's no requirement. However, in theory, nylocs should only be used once, although I just change them on condition.
  22. Living on hand-outs are we Jamie??
  23. Paint.
  24. Big Balls? Prove it. Go Rallying!
  25. I, too, was fat dumb and happy for many years! I wasn't slagging them, Col, I got many years of happy use out of Aisans, just pointing out that you don't necessarily require a "zorst" to fit them and be of some use.
