Aahhh, just seen the earlier photos.... First one is a guy called John Camm. He's been running 4ag Corolla's for a LONG time. One of the first people to start seriously using a 2 door KE30 as a race car. Nice guy, used to be a Police driver trainer. And yes, that blue one is Steve's. He's finally seen the light!

Any more photo's of the blue one? Any idea who owns it? The reason I ask is that Lightning Locksmiths (name on front) is a very switched on guy called Steve Howard, I'm wondering if he's turned to the dark side after years of Celicas.....

Is Spanners car STILL going?? That thing has been going around longer than the Dwarf has, and it's been around a while... Is he slowing down in his old age? Only 3 cars in Class C :), gone are the haydays of 8 cars, all of which could win....

And in the firtst year of my apprenticeship (1990) I made $9180. That was about $149 per week after tax. You have to start somewhere. By the way, ordinary AME's make about $50K (with overtime) in the airlines, less if you're in general aviation. Licensed AME's make maybe $50K in General aviation (which for the responcibility is buggr all), and airline LAME's make between $50K and $120K depending upon licenses, shifts, overtime, etc. I make good money, but I don't see the average Joe out there doing a fan lube at 0300 on Melbourne tarmac on a winters night, or crawling around inside a wing, covered in jet fuel changing a valve or finding a fuel leak. Perspective is what is required.

A guy calls his buddy the horse rancher and says he's sending a friend over to look at a horse. His buddy asks "How will I recognize him?" That's easy, he's a midget with a speech impediment." So, the midget shows up, and the guy asks him if he's looking for a male or female horse. "A female horth." So he shows him a prized filly. "Nith lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth"? So the guy picks up the midget and he gives the horse's eyes The once over. "Nith eyeth, can I thee her earzth"? So he picks the little fella up again, and shows him the horse's ears. "Nith earzth, can I see her mouf"? The rancher is gettin' pretty ticked off by this point, but he picks him up again and shows him the horse's mouth. "Nice mouf, can I see her twat"? Totally mad as fire at this point, the rancher grabs him under his arms and rams the midget's head asfar as he can up the horse's twat, pulls him out and slams him on the ground. The midget gets up, sputtering and coughing. "Perhapth I should rephrase that; Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit"? :)

Yep, it's the same pattern. DCOE, DLHA and Solex have the same manifolds.
