  1. As above, and please also note the three day bump limit there as well. I personally feel you would have more chance talking to Elvis than you would of getting a rust free rear quarter. You be better off repairing it. :locked:
  2. No. Not a good idea. For the above reasons, and many more, on both sides of the coin. Sorry. :( :locked:
  3. I'm the other way. Done tens of thousands of towing K's and never had an issue. I'll only have breakaway if I'm made to have it. Some cars (like mine) have a plug already there to plug it into. Normally I believe you break into the brake pedal switch circuit and use that as an input. The Treg doesn't have a pedal switch (I believe it to be a function of the master cylinder...) so they supply a plug conveniently near the brake pedal to use. Who's doing the trailer? I can put you onto the guy who did mine if you want. Builds a good unit.
  4. Swap a fish tank for the dog?
  5. Because the battery is flat? Because the engine is siezed? Because the startermotor is buggered? Because the starter solenoid is stuffed? Someone has stolen one of the above? Need more information. What engine is it? Do the dash lights come on? Do they go dim when you hit the key? Is there a clicking noise when you turn the key? Or is there just a "clunk"? How long is it since you last started it?
  6. Forgot to turn off the electro-tree magnet?
  7. I have a Tekonsha Primus IQ. Was fitted by Volkswagen, but any Auto Elec (Hi Justin!!) should be able to rig it up a piece of piss. Hell, even you should be able to do it. http://www.tekonsha.com/content/products.aspx?lvl=2&parentid=1400&catID=1435%20∂=0 They also do breakaway kits Works well.
  8. I think this thread has run it's course. :locked:
  9. ^^^^^^^^^ I feel your pain Brother.

  11. Mt Mee for me tomorrow. :)
  12. A very pleasent 60 kms on the pushy this morning. I love Qld winters. :)
  13. We use an iBload at work. Not a bad bit of kit for the coin. Gets used by all and sundry each day, and holds together pretty well. Drives fairly well too considering what it is. I don't think you'll be disappointed, not after the Vito anyway.
  14. It's part of the National Traffic Act. S.A is on it, so the answer is yes.
  15. In cruise they do about 980kg of fuel per hour per engine. On take off about 3 tonne per hour per engine. BNE- SYD is about 3.2 tonne trip, or about 4000 litres total.
  16. Live in jet land and you use nothing but imperial. Even the French Airbus' (Airbusii?) have imperial nuts and bolts through them. My work box contains no metric tools at all.
  17. Touareg's don't need tyres. They just float on a cushion of awesome.
  18. They use 3 quarts a day per engine, oil tank holds 18 quarts. Gets an oil change by itself every 6 days. :)
  19. From the same guys that brought you the treadmill dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qybUFnY7Y8w
  20. Just another night at the factory.
  21. Quoted for truth. Had a mate crush his hand between a ke20 roof and the ground doing just this. Keep the glass, and keep the windows up. If you want ventilation, put in a roof vent.
  22. Here you are Ben. Here's one i prepared earlier. I'm trying to fit it in a kesev, but I don't want to cut the firewall, and do you think I can still use the K50?
  23. Don't worry too much Tim. Evan is used to having a large pineapple jammed up him semi-regularly by the Mod team when he steps out of line. Personally I'm off to Rocklea markets in the morning to see what I can find for the next insertion. I feel it could be soon.
