  2. The Dwarf cost me $200 in 1991. :(
  3. Apple turnover with real cream. *sigh*
  4. You may still have the two little bolts holding in the seat base accessed through two small holes at the front just under the seat. Lift seat squab out. There is probably one small bolt on either side of the lower seat back holding that in. Remove bolts and push up. Seat back should now come out. Should. Unless I've forgotten anything. It's been 15 years since my 25 had a back seat.
  5. I had a 2TG in a 35, now transpanted into my 25. I did it for old school cool, and the fact that the rally 35 had an intimate meeting with a couple of large brown leafy things and I had a 160 fly hp motor sitting on the floor. Great low down grunt, but fickle on tune and set-up. 4ag would be the direction I'd go. Cheap, easy and tons of spare. Cosworth head on a pinto will be cubic dollars to do right, and more fickle than a 2TG. 18R is a boat anchor. Put it out of your mind.
  6. Henry is a 26. :) You guys missed the original white KE20 with the Fiat rear end and the hydraulic handbrake with the VH44 power booster....... That was the car I did my first event in. :)
  7. wonder if it will be the same as the track that was 100% going to be built at Kilcoy.
  8. I did my first one of these exactly 20 years ago almost to the day of this event, driving the car of the guy that's running this day. I'll let Batch advise who won. :D Heaps of low cost fun, and I still love doing them to this day. Don't worry about not being good enough, man up and have a go. You won't regret it.
  9. KE25 with a 1360cc 3K and twin 40 Webers: 8km per litre transport, 3.5km per litre in a rally stage. TE37 replica with 1600 2TG and twin Webers: Similar, although maybe down to 3 km per litre in stage. WRX: about 1.5km to litre in stage. :D
  10. Partly. However, as usual, it was Evan that tipped me over the edge. :D
  11. Looks like the swear filter is going to make a come back. Seriously guys, tone it down a bit.
  12. Battery powered rattle gun with 5mm (?) hex for the win.
  13. *sigh* It doesn't grind my gears, but it depresses me that I've been working for longer than the last two posters have been alive......
  14. According to Mrs Dwarf, up my own arse.
  15. Posting on forums on a mobile phone is NOT an excuse to bypass fundimental elements of the english language like basic punctuation, basic grammar and some attempt at simple sentance structure.
  16. I pulled my pedal set out of mine and put in a 27 set I got from Jap. 27 had Hydro set up from factory. 20 engine bays are tight. I went the 27 set-up because it pushed everything over to the side more to give more clearance. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/7663-redwarf-rebuild-v40/page__st__30
  17. If you give me a six pack I'll take it away.
  18. No, it doesn't actually. That's why they put the rules there in the first place, to stop people spending more money than the next person to try and go faster. If you want to go faster, go up a couple of classes.
  19. Quoted for the MF truth.
  20. Probably not, and if he has, he no longer cares about this forum. :locked:
  21. Boys, just to give you a heads up, if the weather is fine there will probably be a shit load of cyclists on the route up to Mt Glorious. It's a Sunday morning favourite. Note: any anti cyclist statements will result in automatic ban, because I can. :P
  22. That actual car has just re-surfaced after many years. It changed hands with the new owner being given the FJ24 in a couple of boxes so legend has it. Now fully rebuilt and singing in the forests again. :)
  23. From the days when men were men, and trees were nervous. George Fury "240Y:" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRxYzyg2lBQ
  24. I'm not entirely sure it's legal for motorsport purposes.
  25. Guys, just to let you know we're aware of this individual. May I recommend you are careful with ANY sellers of this item, as I picked up a duplicate account this morning. Regards R
