  7. Another option would be 2T-G twin cam. Period for the car, although only 1600cc more grunt torque than the 3T, and will bolt to your existing drive train. Twin side drafts negates any computer issues.

  12. The amount of neg camber to run depends on what it takes to make the car work. I ran about 2.25 deg neg with a locked diff. Made it ...... interesting at the top end of fourth, but required the camber for turn in to compensate for the diff "push".

  16. 5 K crank os the same as a 4K crank. 73mm stroke. Standard 4K bore is 75mm, 5K 80.5. I had CB23 Charade pistons (standard 76mm) in a 3K, which from memory we took out to 78mm (2mm oversize?) at which point we got scared. I believe you won't get 80.5's in a 5K.

  21. Somewhere is a picture of my car at the Ballarat airport bowser with a Cessna lined up behind it. Challenge of Clubs circa 1994. I remember distinctly I paid about 90c a litre for it, which at the time (post-ish Gulf war) was cheaper than normal fuel! Normally when you rolled up with Jerry cans they had to impose a further tax as it wasn't for aircraft use, hence it was normally around the $1.20 mark. That day he just couldn't be arsed working it out. God I miss those days. Note: AvGas has a very distinctive smell from the exhaust when you use it. VERY distinctive. If you're caught running 100LL (very hard to get high lead these days....) not only the Police, but the EPA will rip you a very expensive new hole. A 4 digit expensive new hole.
