  1. Per the forum rules, All items must have a price.
  2. I will definitively answer this question for you. No.
  3. It's not the point. I personally remember a time when I knew NOTHING about cars. I wasn't born awesome. That took a little while to develop. :jamie: Cut them some slack.
  4. All items MUST have a price.
  5. Wrong side of town for me. :( Particularly as I'm working all weekend and Monday night. Sorry.
  6. None. Bonafide Newby as far as I can tell.
  7. Where do you live? Should be able to do it in under 5 minutes. :)
  8. Way to go guys. Only three weeks late for this party. Way to heap shit on a newby, too. Short memories some people around here.
  9. I think your shit out of luck for tonight.....
  10. Ummm... this thread is 4 years old. :locked:
  11. You're wrong. :jamie: 12 x 1.5 should be what's on it. If you have 12 x 1.25 you probably have a nissan stud in there somewhere. Get a 1.5 and change it back.
  12. 992 is a nice bit of kit. 997 more so. :D Most of the GT3's I know of are owned for the purpose of track days or racing, so unlike most of the posing Porsches you come across, these one's generally get used. The stopping power for a start is immense.
  13. Seriously boys, drive one in anger and get back to me. I had a near religious moment when I did. I will say that a Ferrari sounds better when driven with extreme prejudice though.
  14. Quoted for the MF truth. Have an associate changing the rotors on his GT3 ATM for precisely that reason. These puppies have only had limited use (abuse) too. This is a well known side effect.
  15. Carry on then. :D
  16. Ben, and you know that I mean this in the nicest possible way, don't worry about it and concentrate on driving faster. There's more in you to go faster than there is in things like this. :)
  17. A thermostat will enable your car to run at a constant temperature, which, in terms of longevity and wear, is a good thing. Without a thermostat, the temperature will rise and fall depending upon conditions, thus increasing the thermal expansion and contraction, contributing to greater wear. Or something. :)
  18. You gotta remember guys that people also look at this on their work computers. Some companies (mine included) have very specific internet codes of conduct.
  19. .... and if he was? That's the thing. Balanced journalism would have presented both sides of the story in a measured and balanced way. You're assuming the police were in the wrong. I'm assuming wonderboy here is in the wrong. We're both making assumptions. Mine is no different to yours. However if you think there's "hundreds of cases", I suggest you purchase a tin foil hat. Police aren't omnipotent and do have oversight to prevent what could be seen as corruption, as much as people think they do not.
  20. Careful, this is a family production.
  21. It's one sided shitty journalism like this that just pisses me off. It's the hardcopy equivalent of Today Tonight Tomorrow or ACA. (Which I might add I'm forbidden to watch by Mrs Dwarf lest I throw something at the television in a fit of rage.) "Oh whoa is me, I did something wrong, behaved like a f@$kwit and now it's someone else's fault. Now I'll get my own back by going to the papers and spinning a line." HTFU, and get a monthly bus ticket.
  22. Sorry, Portuguese barn find is a myth. However, I recently had the privilege recently of seeing the Jaguar Heritage warehouse. This is where they store all their notable cars that are not (and some never will be) on display. It was a lot like that barn, just cleaner. :)
  23. Gday and welcome to Rollaclub. More like to be the timing belt that you are thinking of. These should be changed eveery 100000 kms. You're right in the window. If you can't find evidence of it being changed, it'd pay to do it. Try getting your wheels balanced. Wheel bearings make noise. Shakiness points to balancing. Any tyre shop will do this for minimal outlay. Yes, CV's sound about right. Replace the whole shaft. If you're okay on the tools, you can do it yourself. Budget maybe $300 for the shafts. Do both sides, then you'll never have to worry about them again. Not big on dizzys. Someone else can answer that one. :) Don't do this yet as it'll come off for the timing belt. (Possibly, don't know 4AFC's at all......) If not, do it when you do the timing belt. Make sure everything is super clean, and all bolts are evenly tensioned. Hope this helps. R
  24. Gday, Couple of things: 1: All items must have a price. 2: Anything for sale must go in the classified area, not in the regions. Regards Mods.
