  1. i think the shock that fits ke struts are vw golf shocks, but not 100% what colour u gunna paint it? looks good with those wheels. should look a heap better once its all one colour haha
  2. u pull it 17 each man, just maike sure its an xt130 before you grab em. theres usualy a few down ther, ive grabbed 3 pairs on 3 seperate occasiuons and there were always a pair to get. RA40 celica arms are also the same. but yeah your lookin at 34 for a pair at u pull it.

  4. not 100 percent sure, but i think they will work. on another note, you should try and get ae86 struts, because you can run bigger better shocks, and will have better brakes. and on another note, Xt130 corona control arms in place of the ke70 items will give you around 1-1.5 degrees neg camber, and if you want more, look into sigma arms
  5. and brakes, line lockers should be done properly lol
  6. i don't think you will have a track incraese, i think ke30 arms are similar or the same length as xt130 arms but yes the xt130 or ae86 steering arms will be needed, other than that it should go straight in. if there cheapish i say get em!

  8. yeah, but its attactched to a gearbox, and i really don't have that kind of effort atm lol ok so 1.2mm abit much 1mm be alright?
  9. its all standard, and the reason i cbf changeing the whole motor is, my dad wants the wreck gone that contains the spare motor, and i don't have a hoist to get the engine out. so its way to much effort i probs wont do it, but id stil like to know more about it. thankyou

Hey everyone, the 4k in my car is abit tired, but anyway i have another 4k thats don't only 100,000 k's and i wasw wondering if it would be worth taking the head off(no i can't be bothered with a whole engine swap) and getting it decked for higher comp then putting it on my current 4k how much should i get it shaved? would i endanger the valves hitting the pistons if i deck it to much? anyway, your thgouths/advice welcome -Alex (grammar loser)

  12. mine seams to drop in revs when applying the brakes but not so much as stalling, i would like to know why this happens to.

  15. that should be it, Manual flywheel also. t18 clutch master will work, not sure about pedal box though. I have a manual ae71 gbox crossmember if someone wants to buy it
  16. 500 for a 22r geeeeeez, sell that and get your ahnds on a 4age and t50 and then do some more research

    spotted this morning at about 9am ke25/ (could have been 20) mustardy colour at coles in rostrevor had watanabe style 12 inch wheels and 2 black front guards
  19. comes out the other way, asin pull the cable through the hole towards the box, not towards the engine

  22. all done got axles and old centre out new centre in all good everynow n then makes a few little clunk noises, don't feel them just hear them may have left some chunks of metal in the diff, will probs do an oil change soon and check
  23. inspection plate off, yep 2 spider gears in pieces. right axle removed left axle is being a bitch!! it wont come out any axle removeing tips?
  24. took it for a hardish drive around the bloc in the wet was one wheelering everywhere then some bad crunches n now the diff is gone completly luckily on my street lol pushed it into driveway and about to go start poulling it apart now
  25. maybe someone can help diagnose my problems sad.gif go to take off in first gear, normal driveing, slowly release clutch with minimal revs. clutch out, press foot down am average amount on throttle, engine free revs then "clunk" and the car goes. keeps free revving and clunking over and over on short periods of time a couple times then drives normal until gear change, or change in throttle amount(like deceleration"clunks again") in which the same thing happens clunk seams to come from rear end of car, but guess it could be anything the car is a ke70 with a 4k, 4 speed, standard diff with welded centre(was welded when car was bought so not sure of quality of welds) can anyone help? -Alex
