    spotted a white/maybe creame ke25 on the parade last night duno if you noticed but i beeped when iu went past in the daihatsu sirion delivery car lol
  6. you will need front guards, bonnet, beaver panel and bit behind bonnet(the grill where the water shoots out from) from your flat front yes the mirrors on the doors are different but that is the only thing, don't goto the trouble of getting flat front door or doors just to have th orginial flat from mirrors, aswell as wall lights obviously you may have to drill new holes in the rad support you wont need a welder, you might need a grinder but i doubt it have a drill handy when you go to do it fixed for you :jamie:
  7. ruely you can force it that .5mm? you mean the 2 studs that go into the LCA? you shouldnt need different ones, i didint use diffeent ones, maybe try reduceing postive caster setting to add abit more length to the rod then onces its on wind the caster back up. so short answer no you don't need any other caster rods.   10. well the spring sort of pulls around the throttle and then when you let go it pushes back, so perhaps a bigger spring will help, same diameter but bigger in length?
  11. take a pic of the jap centre and i might be able to tell you, how many bolts does it have holding the crownwheel on?
  12. yeah i think thats what hes talking about. the spring on the throttle.... maybe *goes out to play with carbys in shed* edit.. the spring on the throttle shaft, maybe if you modifed that, cut it down abit it would have less tension therefore easier to press the throttle with the pedal
  13. yes you will need to change to solid lifters by putting the 4k head on it you will infact Lower the compression by a fair bit, making it suitable for Forced induction, the reason it will lower the compression is because in 5k's they have dished pistons so the combustion chamger is mostly in the top of the piston, while in a 3k/4k the combustion chamber is in head, therfore haveing dished pistons and a head that has combustion chambers surrounding the valves = alot lower compression. if forced induction is not the plan, then don't do it, unless of course you are changeing pistons to non dished style ones... but thats another world i don't know about hope this was helpful
  14. it all makes sense now, i wonder how a wastegate would go instead of a BOV in a blow through setup between the SC and carby... can have that to limit boost, and BOV to stop carby from blowing up. anyway getting offtopic sorry lol
  15. ive alredy got a carby that I'm planning on useing for my setup, but out of interest how much would you sell for? also pictures are good, if anyone has pics of sc setups on k motors chuck em in, don't mind if they are draw through or blow through as i am undecided yet. issue with drawthrough... fuel pooling in the pipes and SC? anyone know how much of an issue this is/can be with a draw through setup?
  16. ok prety newbie question here but, ive got a weber and adapter plate and the studs that come through the adapter plate, the ones still in the manifold, they don't quite line up with the holes in the weber is about a mill to close together for the holes in the weber would i be safe just to drill the weber holes out a tiny bit, or is this a bad idea?

  18. in my old yellow ke i used to rape keybangers, that thing did such good ones in the hills once was a bunch of us with toyotas, then up the hill was the nissan krewww, skidding down the slope was not wet so us toyota coulds could only sit back n watch, good fun tho. anyway i drove up the street as went past em asif about to entry and pull a mad skid but instead let off a few loud arse bangers, they all jumped, funny shit lol also did some in the tunnel on the freeway, echoes through the whole tunnel, my mate in his skyline went half def for abit lol. also just fun driveing around freaking out school kids, like at the end of school day and the bus stops are packed with kids right on the edge of the road, scares the shit out of em lol i taught my dad how to do em in his ke30 he reps em a fair bit these days lol, like i know when hes about to get home coz he'll let one off halfway down the street and my dog wil go crazy.
