  1. was at wreckers today, xt130 struts seam to have hugee wide springs so that could be the reason, so u can run springs athat arnt stupid lol

  3. yeh don't know much about spring seats but sounds about right i thought tho u could use conrona springs and top hat? because it has a larger shock? and strut tube? ra40 and xt130 control arms are the same, and ke30 ones may be the same again! can anyone measuer and get a foto of some
  4. true that the ratios are the same, if u want shorter ratios get a diff from an auto car

  6. when ug et the xt130 struts they will come with brakes, which are bigger yay! you wont need the xt130 arms i don't recon, plus i heard that ke30 ones are the same or only slightly shorter than xt130 ones like 5mm max. so if u do get any camber it wil only be slight and probs good. u will need xt130 steering knuckles with the xt130 struts, then you will be able to use any ae86 front shocks and springs and theres plenty have a look on here www.drivingclub.com.au easy to find stiff as shit stuff and people will make custom springs at any height and rate for about 200 (see A J P S) ps. to the mods, lawl at makeing A J P S say spja when written together :P
  7. ok well i never got around to compareing them to the ke30, but i heard from a mate that in a ke30 theres no point putting xt130's in because they are either the same or only slightly different
  8. t50 on a k motor is not logical unless the motor is worked enough to regularly blow boxes if you do alot of speeds above 60 on a fairly opten basis then id say its worth it my ke70 is 4sp n its fair annoying, if u can find one at u pull it take the shifter out and tell them its a 4spd when u buy it because 4spds are about 80 i think while 5 speeds are almost 200
  9. probs can, also depends on pushrod length, might have to extend or shorten it, you might even be able to get away with an ae71 slave, depends on size of clutch line aswell but an ae71 mcc is not that big, i spose if u want to fit a rather large motor in it could help but for a 4age i doubt it would make much of a difference

  13. early front and late front are the same to, i have an early fornt strut and a late front strut in one car n they are same
  14. theres a bloke in adelaide pushing 200kw at the rears with an sr20 n he stil runs the standard diff, lol he changes axles regurlaryly

  16. you can get this demister glue shit its like the lines, u just paint it on where the lines are missing can get from most auto places, think its about 15 bux for a small bottle of it
  17. buy some other ke30 springs and cut them, so you have your orginals still or get some ford falcon EA-AU i think front springs and cut them, and put them in not sure if they will actually fit, i know they fit in ke70 struts what is the diameter of the spring and spring seat?
  18. chop the roof off, run no doors, no bonnet no front guards, no boot lid, cut sides of boot down, no bumpers, no interior except one seat, steering column and dash cluster, drive it naked?

  20. you wont find a rear wheel drive version of that engine prety sure, best bet would be to find a crashed ae92 with the engine still in tact and do a rwd conversion on it theres plenty of info on it I'm fairly sure on 86dc
  21. just replace the headlight surround on that side.....? brb having a look at my stock shit in my shed edit: yeah just get one of these(but for the left hand side, see pic) from the wreckers, they come off the front of the headlight/backing, 4 clips, easy, and if your headlight backing is bent as well then just get that part as well, 4 bolts onto the rad support easyeasy you probs have to take your grill out to replace it, but thats just like another 4 clips
