Update, This car has Plans now :bash: I will be superchargeing a 4k and puting it into this car I have never dealt with forced induction before so alot i have been doing alot of research on the matter I have started collecting bits and pieces so far i have 32/36 weber rescently rebuilt sc12 supercharger AFAIK in good nick Bosch high pressure fuel pump 4k AC Mount Soon getting a fairly fresh 4k to use as the base motor. The plan originally was to do a blow through setup, But i am now leaning towards doing a suck through setup as it seams like it has been done before more so than blow through carby and also i wont have to worry about overpressureiseing the carb, As alot of this stuff is and will be new to me I'm bound to stuff up somewhere along the way, so basically suckthrough = simpler. Current specs of the car(nothing special) Cut front springs standard front shocks, Nardi Steering wheel HQ Monroe rear gas shocks(good length and fitment, short stroke but not overkill like sieraas) 245mm free height Falcon Rear springs. S13 Wheels/13inch jellybeans/dragways, some other random 13's very tired 4k with water leaking out of the head, at the bottom so i think its done the gasket. doesnt matter because i have a daily ra40 for now Locker Once i get a full time job stuff should start happening a fair bit quicker, pizza boying only just getting me by these days lol Also on the list to do is front suspension and proper rear springs, In time id like to go 86 struts with descent shocks, 6kg springs and 4kg rear springs. Also some nicer wheels, 14X7'ish

if its just carby cleaner then its spray n u can get it from repco or whatever if its not then i don't know lol i got a new 4k n this one doesnt guzzle the fuelz as much so I'm happy

usually u have to get the rails made up, i think, like get your rails n get them modded and put onto the seat tho i think also some come with "Universal rails" not sure what that means exactly basically u could fit anything that isnt too wide measure the space from ur centre console to the door and subtract it by a little bit and thats the maimum seat you should try and fit

you can use the rear of the t18 i believe you will need to use the rear half of your t18 tailshaft mated to the front half of your current tailshaft the t18 diff is also much stronger and has LSD options :fuzz: tho your t18 diff may not have swaybar mounts? someone else will know more

yeah, thinner tyres may help, and higher offset wheels

everyone bunny hops around when they start, i learnt to drive in a manual column shift kingswood, and when that thing bunny hoped its like the world was comeing to an end lol after learning in that and getting my first car a ke30, it was soooo much easier to drive,

checked my plugs there all fine, this problem seams to have fixed itself now, may have just been shit in the carby or something that needed a good thrashing to get rid of, even tho i give it a good thrashing most places i go lol

Hey guys, my ke70(4k) guzzles a lot of fuel, 10 bucks hardly gets me 50 k's anymore, in my old ke30 with a 5k 10 bucks would get me 100k's even with an amount of flogging. anyway, iw as wondering if anyone could list a whole bunch of tuneing things i could do to the motor to make it use less fuel but without too much of a performance decrease -Alex

yeah, 1200 sounds like alot for that, get yourself the bits you need, even though it is a turbo rolla i doubt the master ns lave will cost that much, clutch will depend on what you want but for a heavy duty organic it shoudlnt be more than 300

tryed old leads, same result, went back to good leads, same thing set points again was then missing at 2.5k and above would only rev up to 3k, looked at points again, wow thats really big oops... set them again useing .014 inch guage(to allow for slight error) runs abit better now, still misses at high rpm but not so much, still misses a bit before 5 which id like to get rid of, and idles a little better now. less missing i need one of the spark plug tools, i gotta go to work in abit, else id go grab one n check the plugs, whats the best way to service the plugs? will probs do it 2moro, whats the gap? also what sieze sp spanner do i need? i might get one on way to work??

yeah i put newish bosch leads on at same time and bosch dizzy cap done less than 100 k's, i think leads were replaced at same time aswell, (this is off another car) not sure how good my plugs are, theya re probs full of gunk, don't have a sp spanner tho, i might try closeing the gap up in a minute note for anyone turning over there motor with a wrench, once u have done it, don't forget to take the wrench off i started the car with it on(because I'm forgettful) and it undid the bolt on the end of the crank in a matter of a second edit. hmm before i do anything else I'm gunna put my old leads on, i know the bosch ones are new but the bit that goes to the plug just doesnt seam longe nough, that could be arcing.... probs not tho

ok my ke70 misses when u rev it out, like 4.5k and up it valve bounces today i checked the timeing and it was fairly advanced so i wound it back abit, this made it miss even more and sounded like it was valve bounceing at about 5k, i don't think it was tho i think it was just missing heaps. i also reset the points to .018inch would the points effect this much, because i set the points before setting the timeing which is the reason i had to wind back my timeing to stop it pinging its arse off, but now it misses alot at high rpm, it already did before but not to this extent. i also mucked around with the mixture abit, but that didnt have any effect on it ps it also misses a bit on idle

yes adjust idle also check timeing and points also check all connections on battery and connections from battery to alternator and starter motor does it not start when the car has been sitting for a while? or just randomly doesnt start? when it does start how quickly does the starter motor turn over

yeah different extension houseing, tho wil stil work, your shifter position will be different ke70 has its shifter right at the back of the ext houseing and ke30-55 had it in the middle so its further forward. not sure about earlier models, they might have had it even further forward again? or same as ke30-55

all xx had 5 sped, and option in the cs

was at wreckers today, xt130 struts seam to have hugee wide springs so that could be the reason, so u can run springs athat arnt stupid lol
