  1. Autos are far better and cheaper in the long run just ask a taxi driver, ive had both factoty gas and after market and dual fuel is much better, less problems, better on fuel, also if you run out you can't walk and buy a can of gas, mine uses almost twice as much petrol as gas $ wise and it runs better on gas,
  2. I have an 06 rtv that has done 310000ks so i think i can report on this, it weighs over 2 tonne in everyday use, fuel use is 6.5kp litre or $9 per 100k all around town so about as good as a new corolla, repairs so far, 1 set of front wheel bearings, 2 sets of front discs,1 cat, 3 sets of spark plugs, 5 sets of front pads, oil and filter every 15000k and auto service every 80000k, 2 headlight bulbs and one numbert plate bulbs, a set of sway bar bushes and sway bar links, i also pulled the ball joint boots of from new and put good grease in them, its just getting a noise in the diff but apart from that everything is perfect and it still drives good, overall a great car
  3. do you have to sound so happy about it :jamie:

everything on the body is stock and no sign of ripples yet, the front x menber is starting to unpick itself and on the dyno it looks like the back doors are trying to open, in the process of changing the diff gears from 3.7s to 4.3s to get it of the line better, i'll be dissapointed if its slower than the manual, thanks for the kind words
  15. Mine has a strange rubbery smell if i take of to quickly
  16. Save me the pain of advertising on ausrotary, rust and dent free 808 wagon, 1.6l manual, round headlight pointy front, yellow with black interior, still has plastic on door trims, was pulled apart for a project but owner lost interested, all parts catalogued and bagged, i will organise photos but this is a very, very clean original 808 wagon, $3000 PM me or 0412722199
  17. it has done a 12.4@84mph, i'm not happy but we'll see what i can sort out in 2 weeks for jambo, its in the 60ft best with nanual was 1.6 last night 2.6 if i can sort that out the mph will go up, does good burnouts tho 6000 in 3rd =200kph
  18. went to willo last night, not happy with the results but we think we have some answers 12.4@113 but i've lost a second to 60ft, planning a change of ratios to get of the line quicker, 3.7/1 atm for a top speed at 6500 of 307kph looking at 4.3/1 for a top of 255kph

  22. neways does anyone know how strict the engineer is going to be if i cut the tunnel to fit the 5 speed? And if they will even care about the 5K? Amar i have fitted a 5k and 5 speed to a ke17 and you don't have to cut the tunnel
  23. hope your planning a big torquey motor, beefed up rhf spring and seat runners to help with the extra weight ???
  24. can anyone confirm the the weight of a ae71 auto sedan

    Done

it shifts manually by activating the solenoids, the valve body from MV automatics gives a more solid shift, the slow change between gears is what kills them
