Hi all, Well after completely blowing the budget on 67Rolla (over $13K...and still going) I've got myself a KE20 with some front end damage that I hope to have on the road for less than $1k. The car cost me $400 without a motor (thanks Chris :jamie: ), but just picked up a 3k for $150 (thanks Callum :lol: ). So budget is looking good so far. I'll be putting 13" rims on her as 12" tires cost a fortune. So $260 for new tires. The car came with all the bits to put the front end back together. My brother in law pulled the front end out for me on the weekend, all I need is a new lower radiator support. Once the front end is back together and the engine is in she'll get a rub back and respray in the same original blue. The interior is like new so nothing to spend there. All up should cost about a grand...

Choice 2! Saw similar on a red MR2 (Toyota Owners Club member's car), looks fantastic.

Thinking about turning my KE20 into a Variety Club Bash car (charity tame rally), anyone wanna chop some ideas onto it? This isn't mine but was a rather good pic me thinks. I want to stay with the medium/light blue colour but knock yourselves out.

I painted the data plate on my GM 3speed gearbox... sorry couldn't get any info off it.

lol that was with the tired old 3k. should hit 130 with the 5K??

Damn forgot to look at the box, sorry. Will try and get the details off it tonight. It bolts straight onto the 5K so would be a good pick.

I have a GM (Holden) 3spd gearbox sitting at home that came with my 5K. I'll see if I can get some info off it tonight. What state are you in?? Edit: Just saw you're in NSW... box isn't worth the freight. I'll get the details off it so you know what to look for.

Changing to a 4/5K is very simple. Step 1: Take K/3K out Step 2: Fit 4/5K Same mounts, same hoses, same everything. Only work you may have is mods to the new engine (intake, dizzy/EFI). As long as the new engine isn't running EFI or anything it's a straight swap. Hope this helps :y:
