  3. Not much rust at all, just the spot under the rear windscreen. Just going to get my brother-in-law AJ to rub her back and spray same blue at his panel shop.
  4. Thanks Rollas22. The mirror and antenna are going on my KE10. Was absolutely stoked when I saw it had the same antenna as the KE10. I had to destroy the one on the 10 cos it was rusted on. Will just get one of those black rubber aftermarket ones for the 20.

  8. Thanks Chobis, it's more a laziness thing respraying in the original colour :jamie: Visor is staying on the car!
  9. Thanks. I'm liking your Valiant. My wife and I are looking at a HG Premier for our next project... nothing beats the good old muscle cars!
  10. Hi all, Well after completely blowing the budget on 67Rolla (over $13K...and still going) I've got myself a KE20 with some front end damage that I hope to have on the road for less than $1k. The car cost me $400 without a motor (thanks Chris :jamie: ), but just picked up a 3k for $150 (thanks Callum  ). So budget is looking good so far. I'll be putting 13" rims on her as 12" tires cost a fortune. So $260 for new tires. The car came with all the bits to put the front end back together. My brother in law pulled the front end out for me on the weekend, all I need is a new lower radiator support. Once the front end is back together and the engine is in she'll get a rub back and respray in the same original blue. The interior is like new so nothing to spend there. All up should cost about a grand...
  11. Choice 2! Saw similar on a red MR2 (Toyota Owners Club member's car), looks fantastic.
  12. there's a new holden ute I see frequently running around with [REALTHING] (polycarb) plates.... boo! Oh and [MOO UTE] (vn holden ute from memory) all painted white with cowhide patches of black, looks fantastic!

  14. Should both get points!
  15. Thinking about turning my KE20 into a Variety Club Bash car (charity tame rally), anyone wanna chop some ideas onto it? This isn't mine but was a rather good pic me thinks. I want to stay with the medium/light blue colour but knock yourselves out.
  16. This story can't be right, I'm sure the instructor gets hit with the points??
