Hi all. I finally got my engine in on the weekend!! My gearbox mount never made it back from the panel shop :D Anyone know where I can buy one or if any other model/car's mount will fit? I'm sticking with the original Toyoglide box. I was hoping to have the old girl running by now but have a short list of items still needed, this being the harderst to track down. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Ken

Nearly finished putting the engine back together...

Ke70 brakes & master to be fitted next weekend. Hope to have the engine in next weekend. Have to go with the 2 Spd Toyoglide as the 3spd that came with the 5K won't fit in the tunnel. :P If I can get the engine in, windows in, brakes fitted, interior in, and trim on by the end of next weekend... I'll be a very happy chappy :hmm: Edit: I also stripped back a few parts of the engine bay I wasn't happy with (including the big crack below the VIN plate), and have put the first coat of primer over them. All the imperfections were caused by primer not being sanded properly or oil still being on the panels, nothing wrong under the paint. Should all come up perfect.

That place looks close to my idea of heaven... just need a giant workshop to the side... and a well stocked bar in the workshop :P

Saw a white AE112 hatch on the way to work (on Abernethy @ ~8am) with big skirt and exhaust, missing rear bumper. Saw that black Seca with the purple flames about 5 minutes ago on cnr of Warton rd & Spencer Rd. Lastly had a white AE82 hatch with black bonnet behind me on Kenwick link about 15 minutes ago.

Hi all, I'm trying to sort out my brakes with bits I have at my disposal. I have an almost complete KE70 and hubs off a KE20. Can the KE70 calipers be used on the KE20 Discs/hubs on my KE10?? What other parts would be required?? I'm also looking at fitting the brake master out of the 70, any issues I'm likely to encounter? Thanks all. Ken

Is the 5K running fine with the 3k carbie?? If not I might have a spare stock 5k carbie once I know the twins work properly in a week or two.

Yeh, I tried 1 wrecker... will have to search a little more. I think I'm just going to get her up and running with stock drum brakes and worry about that later... not much choice at this time.

No one in WA sells RA Galant parts!! :lolcry: Anyone able to get their hands on the twin brake master? On another note, planning to build the engine next weekend! Sooo close!

The source poeople are getting this from (7k same size as other k engines) is Rollaclub!! Someone linked to the thread when asking about a 5k on Friday. Link Someone please alter this!

I don't think that's true. From what I've heard the 7k is about an inch wider??

+1 I may have driven a couple till the head was blown, but never crashed my Rollas.

This has already been brought up. I'm putting 4 split systems in my 3 b/r house... not for plants, just cheap and easy!
