  1. Very nice! I don't know how you manage to make that colour look sexy, but you do!
  2. Well it sure looks like a lot of fun!!
  3. Checked another one... DUMB SLIDN And another QLDSUX :P
  4. Does anyone know if there is a page like that for WA?? MYBABI DRFTPIG SLOOW And my favourites THRASH OLGIRL These were all available when I checked!
  5. "Can't sleep, clown'll eat me!"
  6. Engineering... How are you going to take of at lights? Thing will wanna do a backflip. :P Is this thing tubbed or getting tubbed?
  7. Hold your breath for 15 minutes :P
  8. Change your insurer. I insured mine with Shannons for $7k while it was (and still is) a pile of parts. Only costs like $400 a year. Just tell them you are restoring it :D
  9. "What! And I've been chewing my food like idiot!"
  10. Definately agree with you on the full comp. Unless you are going to cover the car for like $4k+ it's not worth it...
  11. Haven't you had like 15 days of 40+ ??
  12. Not that I care what he does at all, but I'd say it's an issue because he's seen as a role-model. Still, no worse than the average AFL player.. :D
  13. When you say people don't look with regards to motorbikes, sometimes you can't see them even if you do look! A bike can hide behind your b pillar quite easily I've had it happen before. As I've said before, I do think more emphasis should be put on actual defensive driving training. This prepares you more for when things aren't going perfect. But this would probably be seen as encouraging hoon behavior. What grinds my gears: "a lot" it's 2 words people :D I was a D student when it came to English, so I have no idea why this bugs me but it does.
  14. They do do something about it. It's called a Provisional License! This is why you have some restrictions and a visible sign on your car letting other drivers know you are inexperienced. I also think advanced driver training should be compulsory. This could give a similar assistance as the flight training you mentioned Irokin.
  15. I've got to go back to the trimmer who recovered my seats to get some clips. I'll ask him what he recommends.
  16. You're never going to find a panel shop that likes to fix old cars that aren't worth much, not unless you are paying to restore it. Takes time and will never look right unless the car gets a full respray. It's a shame you can't settle this without involving insurance, get a little cash and get some replacement panels. I'm sure lots of people on here could bodge repair that damage if you didn't mind multi-coloured panels? Adds caracter!
  17. Cheers, I'll take it. PM me a price. I hope to get cash over the weekend so will be trying to get all the bits next week.
  18. Forgot to post this yesterday. Spotted a black KE20 turning onto Albany hwy off Leach at 8am yesterday morning. Looked tidy... but my eyesight isn't the best :P
  19. Did you get any photo's of the cruise Garnett?? :P
  20. Fantastic car, I had the 400 version. A lot slower than yours... As far as I know you have one of the limited run of 300's with chrome trim. But I'm only going from what I know about the Toyota Soarers, may vary for Lexus SC's.
  21. I don't like it. I agree with Trav, looks like you replaced it but couldn't colour match.
  22. No progress of late, no funds. :P My wife has sold our third car so I have to get the Rolla running asap!! Hope to have her on the road in 2-4 weeks!?? Have lined up all required parts, just got to wait for the cash and find the time to pick everything up.
  23. I think I had one of those din cd holder things once apon a time, from my Soarer. I'll have a look for you, but I haven't seen it for a while...
