dunno what year. i guess they are fairly old, judgind by the weird headrest.
i bought them off of a forum member.
yeah i'm a powdercoater so i powdercoat all this stuff myself!
Thanks for the replies people. feedback is appreciated.
cheer, Luc
yeah thats cool
it'll cost in excess of 5grand to do 20v.
i'm upto about 6-7grand for my conversion so far.
but yeah i'm gonna bolt the gearbox up this wkend and make sure everything is sweet before i start making more!
update.
got the first part of my cooling system taken care of!
its a rear housing from a 4ac on the 20v front!
also i've just purchased master and slave clutch cylinders with hard lines.
also a legal isotta boss kit!
some honda prelude seats! very comfy!
got a silvertop afm.
and also got an exedy clutch.
ok for it to be perfectly legal the boss kit must be collaspable.
when you buy it the shop should give you a certificate with the details and also the car it is meant for.
keep this in your car and also a sticker is common as well put this on the kit or on your window.
same goes for the steering wheel.
it costs a bit more but worth it if a coppa pulls you over and tries to defect you for it.
if the shop can't provide you with the right stuff then it isn't going to be legal!
sooo perhaps just run a turbs and don't change anything.
if the internals are that strong then it should be reliable.
i guess the tune is the most important
just need to keep it away from detonation.
anyone else got experience?
have you read throught the faq?
there is an article about installing intank pumps.
i've got a vn intank pump it flows enought for a 3.8l so it should keep up with a little 1.6l no matter how hot it is!
Okey dokey for all you experts....
i would like some advice on turboing my 20v.
what would be a good compression ratio to aim for and how to achieve.
there is a guy in the states though with a rotex charger running stock internals. but has ported the exhaust side
and is running 15psi and has been for 9months.
i reckon that asking for trouble with such a high comression ratio.
i want a decent power gain in the region of 150-160kw atw.
but i don't want to lose off boost driveability.
cheers, Luc
