Cat's are cool :monkey: I have taught my cat to sit when I till him too, and come here, and when I say 'quickly' he runs and when I say 'jump on' he jumps on my shoulder, and when I say 'kissy' he rubs his head against mine :) I've had him since he was born and fit in the palm of my hand so I've trained him up well.

ke70pussywagon, thanks buddy, its stock as a rock (besides dif engine) :) That FMIC on the ebay one is silly, its a perfect size to mount it below the rego plate (look at pic of my car) and behind the grill as there LOADS of room, the turbo ones came with a half size radiator too so paint it black and mount it on the right hand side in front of the aircon. I've been doing some research and instead of going for a large FMIC I'm pondering on water to air .... Also another downside with that ebay GP, if you notice the pod, its getting no flow, what the new owner can do is make a whole into the engine bay to the guard, that's what mine has when I ran the 3ETE motor... I have a cold air intake and it worked very well... now I have mine under the scope. As for who came up with Corolla II??? Toyota did silly :P: They make or made them overseas I think for the Japanese European markets, in America / Canada they are know as Tercel's. The styling is very 80's :D In the pic's below see the difference in front bar's - the ones which look like mine are Corolla II's the other one is a Corsa ... what's the difference.. Between the two... the front bar and that's it to my knowledge :) Oh some other things why these cars are cool: 900kgs, Coil over suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes and Turbo :) Oh and an example for E series engines: 2E-e - 1.3ltr SOHC 12v 4cyl (came in carby as well as EFI) Starlet 2E-te - 1.3ltr SOHC 12v 4cyl Turbo - Starlet EP71 Turbo 3E-e - 1.5ltr SOHC 12v 4cyl (came in carby as well as EFI) - Tercel / Corolla II 3E-te - 1.5ltr SOHC 12v 4cyl Turbo - Tercel / Corolla II GP Turbo / Corsa 4E-fe - 1.3ltr DOHC 16v 4cyl - Starlet 4E-fte - 1.3ltr DOHC 16v 4cyl Turbo - Starlet / Glanza GT Turbo 5E-fe - 1.5ltr DOHC 16 4cyl - Paseo You also have some diesel models variants too.. E - economical :monkey:

toyota corolla ii gp turbo / corsa The turbo ones are only JDM - and came out with a 3ETE which is a 1.5ltr SOHC 12v 4cyl turbo, it uses a CT20 turbo so small but good enough to give it some go. from memory something like 89kw at the fly. The 3e is a good strong motor capable of making decent power when worked right. They came from factory with some cool gear for 80's cars, mine has a 6 speaker stereo with double din head unit, bass engines under the seats with control, fully adjustable drivers bucket seats, velvour interior, air con/climate control, power steering/mirrors and crazy space ship styling. They are FWD's and don't have much in common with corolla's but more starlets. As for the add: Dual stage boost control factory fitted <-- true Spare turbo charger to go with car <-- you'll need this see below Factory electric sunroof <--??? hmmm becareful Pocket rocket, similar to aussie model, slightly different <-- Bullshit Like all corollas, they rev hard and go hard. <-- true Has an awsome whistle and flutter when backing off or changing gears <-- this is because the 3ete didn't have a factory BOV, so what your actually hearing is the turbo through the intake, that fluttering sound is the wastegate and the whistle is mostly the turbo on its way out hehe :P I'm in the process of doing some work to my GP Turbo, it was the 1st one in Aust. to have the 4E starlet GT engine put in, and yeh I'm fixing it up. Here is a pic of my beast:

I agree with teddy, sell it as a whole, cars are like that... you'll never get your money back unless it didn't cost you anything to begin with! And damn!!! you're going from an old rolla to a new GTI!!! nice! I was pondering on selling my astra and getting a polo gti ... but yeh astra works fine... and cars are money pits... unlike houses which actually can make money.. and are a good thing to aim for when you don't own one!

hey look at this old post I found ..... coool.... I have new pics of my cat too hehe That's my cat pushed to killing point when I annoying him hehe :lmao: And they other is what happens when you step away from your cold beer on a hot day :D

-
That charade was cool :) The Dato nice... but my fave would be your sprinta :)

04 Holden Astra SXI - 1.8ltr FWD non turbo.. pure 86kw @ the fly :)
-
Actually, I just heard some bad news about the person I WAS going to pay to do it! dodgie! I rather do it myself ... if I stuff up.. I have a spare ECU... but a 50 bucks a pop ... mistakes can be costly lol
-
Yep every episode, I own the movie, I own the 1:24 model set, I have 3 of the 5 smaller model set(one extra to play with) :) Mashed episodes and different translations of stage one where bunta apparently fits a Honda engine to the 86 :) (misstranslation! lol) And I remember when the club members where talking about it and my reaction was "WTF, A cartoon? damn that must suck!" and then I saw my 1st episode and never went back lol

I'm very confused, you mean engines didn't have cams? what the? I went from Eunos 30x to Eunos 500 to Mazda 626 1984(wtf?) and then to Telsta(1985) and then to Toyota Corolla II GP Turbo (YAY!) I'm pretty sure every one of them had a cam... of some sort..

Friend came around in his 300zx and damn! he has all the mods I want! Tein coilovers with incar adjustable suspension, quick release steering wheel, strut bars on both rear and front, FMIC, cold air intake, in car boost controller, soon to have some nice big turbo upgrade too. Ohwell... I have stripped the ECU wires on the 4e loom and I'm thinking of paying someone to do it as no one wants to give me a hand :)

it all comes down to condition, 1500 to 8000

I handed the plates in today.... and I've destroyed the rego sticker... Maxi is offically un-registered / un-insured and completely off the road :P
-
I think traction issues would be a problem. A friend of mine was telling me his friend has a celica with a 3SGTE making something like 160kw at the wheels and he has run 13sec passes. I think thats fast enough... as long as the car handles. :P
-
Thanks :P Sure is, I wish Brownster never sold it that was a serious weapon ...I believe a mini is now powered by that engine.
-
Its a pain in the butt, but brings us closer to loving our cars (or wanting to burn them to the ground!) Can anyone confirm that the paseo plugs are the same as the EP82 plugs?
-
Damn :) (no pun intended) Its my fiances birthday on the 21st.. ohwell... have fun guys .. I'll have to wait till the next cruise to hinz. :lmao:
-
There we go!!!! ... to get this far, one must remove all the wiring tape and rubber ring on the firewall and the plugs just pop out :lmao: next step is to acquire a dash loom plug from a 4e or 5e ep82/paseo and then repin the original loom.

What is a lanyard ? :lmao: -
Well... if you wanna do some work on the loom re: ecu, its best not to pull the whole dash board apart and then still find that craming into the front passenger foot well is going to get you either very stuck & annoyed and or light headed from working upside down... ... time to pull the loom out into the open spaces of the engine bay

I was looking for a sprinter as it was made by a Toyota, and I was looking for a relieable RWD car, the sprinter was cheap and fitted the roll perfectly. The problem came about when a certain cartoon came out and everyone became tofu delivery drivers! This made finding a sprinter hard, well one that wasn't returning into the ground. On sunny day whilst reading the classifieds I came across an add for a GP Turbo, curious and a little dissappointed as it was FWD ... I thought it would be ok to have a look and be a bit of a tire kicker, the GP was advertised for 5600.00 and my budget was 3000 max :P I fell in love and the GP now lives in my garage... the rest is history.. :P

Nice car and the mods complement it well :P

I know of a non-turbo Corsa with a 4e turbo conversion, however the owner is asking to much and the condition isn't the best. How about an early Starlet?? unregistered FIVE door Turbo Starlet S at ABC wreckers "Seemed a bit neglected with front windscreen trim missing, some rust around fuel cap but the wrecking yard had dropped the price from $2,200 down to $1,200 obviously to move it. Complete car but they may wreck it for parts soon? " "Had about 123,XXX km's on it - was an auto however what caught my eye was that it was a 5 door model..."
