  1. according to fast and the furious motec make exhausts don't they? ;)
  2. They are always sundays jimi... anything you have seen that suggests other wise is probably a f*ck up on my behalf when half reading calendars :)
  3. I know the guy that runs Boronia Car Care - he is a good guy and good mechanic, but its a small drive for you. Peter Robinson Automotive also have an enormous amount of experience with Corollas of all vintages, but again its a fair way from home, and he charges for his experience. A 2002 model Corolla really shouldn't be a challenge to service for any mechanic really. Any of the big chains (Ultratune, K-mart Auto, Repco Auto Service) will be cheaper than the dealer, give good service and be pretty safe if you aren't confident of finding a local mechanic your self. They will probably be dearer than the true local mechanic, but they are probably a happy medium between that and your Toyota dealer.
  4. Short notice, but August's meeting will include a presentation and discussion on shocks from KYB shocks. Should be an interesting evening!
  5. Please note there has just been a date change due to a double booking for Dr Drift. Date is now Sunday 25th September for our dyno day. Shornesheep can you please edit your original post :) Thanks
  6. Spotted gorgeous stock as a rock tan/poo brown/kahki coloured ke26 wagon on middleborough rd this morning suspect it might have been the one peter robinson had for sale 6 months ago... or its twin
  7. onikage you would be welcome to come along and have a run, its posted up on here to encourage rollaclub people to get out from behind their computer and get involved in person :)
  8. Evan also mentioned using XT130 arms to get negative camber in a KE30-55 - this is incorrect as the XT130 arm is identical length to that of a KE30/55
  9. Nah I sold it 18 months ago to a dude in Sydney. He popped up here once then disappeared again. Then I spotted it advertised for sale again maybe 3-4 weeks ago, and those ads are now gone (gumtree and my105) So entirely possible its moved on to a new home out there.
  10. Thanks parrot... I reckon it makes more noise than go... but it does sound awesome :)
  11. Put me down in the jealous club also... i love it with the ke10 front end. Farken awesome. Looking forward to updates where its dumped into the weeds and is running some appropriate jdm dish wheels

  18. my best was 29.88 damn moke was 29.84 - so my maths was a bit wrong second was 29.47 in a cortina gt, so i am going to have to get a wriggle on I was 4th fastest overall in the 4th session though... that may have been related to pissing down rain and half the field didnt run :)
  19. Its Tuesday... meeting is on tonight... including the club's AGM. See you there.
  20. your stud pattern will be 4x110 if the car hasnt been modded mazda steel wheels from the 70's will fit - can be had in 14's i think then buy crown hub caps you will then look the same as many other ke20's on here
  21. Good day. Thanks for coming along to all those who made it. Sorry I vanished.. I lost everyone... then my phone went flat... so once I had taken all my photos I decided to head for home about 4.30.
  22. Does that mean he was the passenger in this case since it was a lack of rear grip that created the drama? Since he hasn't done it himself and I did take photos to stir him up.... Before After
  23. DeTomato had a good run at Rob Roy today.. Prep involved putting a "new" steering wheel on - I got a better condition DeTomaso one out of Malaysia for cheap on ebay so I put that on. Its nice having leather all the way around the wheel again. Other than that I washed it and pumped up the tyres a little. I love club racing :) After a couple of slow runs up the hill, I managed to do my fastest time of the day on my third run, as well as my fastest ever up the hill, so I am very happy. I think I ended up 4th in the class 1300cc-1600cc... pipped to 3rd by 0.010 by a dude in mini moke.. dammit! 4th run it was raining, so slippery and fun, but slow. Next event is the Phillip Island 6 hour in a month. Stay tuned!
  24. So do you want to tell them, or should i?? :)
