  1. I just take a tarp and put everything under that. I have learnt to be self sufficient :) Agreed the tyres shouldn't be a problem.. but then if you combine them with a car registered in nsw in my dad's name.. on semi's.. with a race seat... and a harness not a seat belt... well... i just prefer to try and be as under the radar as possible.
  2. What support vehicle?! I drive to track on stock wheels and tyres most of the time. Sometimes go on semi,s but I am always worried what the police might think. All my tools and other wheels are in the back and I just pull it all out...change wheels ..then in to scrutineering. Hope the weather is kind.....
  3. Club rego for you blokes too? :)
  4. Should install something like this Evan http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-Genuine-CD-Player-w-Bluetooth-iPod-connection-/250813642386?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a65a87692

  7. Is there a decent range of race oriented brake pads available for your caliper of choice? Getting them custom cut to suit something that isn't common is expensive as... and good brake pads make a massive difference to a car :)
  8. Arias pistons in the US would be worth a look.. 800 for pistons for my 18rg and that was before the excellent conversion rate of the moment
  9. Not much to note at centre road today. Couple of corollas but nothing flash. There was a rt132 with struts in tact..good brake upgrade... Couple of cressidas with 7mge there...and a ma70 with 7mgte
  10. So the one Matt is referring to in Noble Park is now for sale on www.tccav.org.au Someone seriously needs to snap it up.. its too good a car to see sitting!
  11. pug / corona / hilux is a great upgrade for the front at minimal expense if you have some good money to spend.. go the hoppers stoppers big brake kit which will give you 5 stud if you want it rear axle - t-series rear end can be upgraded to rear discs... or a skyline diff or a hilux diff though the rn25 one is rare as rocking horse poo
  12. I reckon we cover this topic about once a month here... love guys who use the search option :) The rotary products guy in Qld is a reseller of the dodgy Thai products scotts old auto rubber co or rare spares products are more expensive, but better quality. the above two companies also sell the chrome locking strip

  16. Few more details from toymods... Starting point will be Lilydale Lake carpark, Swansea Rd entrance,( Melway map 38 G7). Meeting from 8.30am for a yak then take-off time will be 9.30am sharp to allow us time to stop in Marysville. This should then get us to the Molesworth pub about lunch time. Approx distance is 220 kms so make sure fuel tanks are full prior to arrival as there wont be too many cheap fuel points after we start. There is a Caltex on the corner of Maroondah hwy and Anderson St in Lilydale that has the cheapest fuel in the area. It'll be open at that time of day. More details as they come to hand.
  17. Good to see a rides thread appear :)
  18. Seriously send them to Rodger as linked above.. he does an awesome job.... well priced... and he know the solex inside out. he reconditioned mine and they look just like you want too.
  19. What a great way to start the day... that's good fun driving up that road.. and sorry to Pac for the slight detour on the way home thanks to Tom Tom Thanks go to Brendan for coming up with the venue again. Great job! I thought the turn out was good given it was further afield. We will come west again soon folks.. a venue with a good carpark and coffee near by would help the cause :) Great to see a few new cars this month too. A yellow TA22 (he owns a TA27 too!), another yellow TA22, the blue Lotus Esprit complete with huge ironing board on the back.. i mean wing... and Marcus' green Monaro, which has been a garage ornament for many years. Also cool to have a few more partners out there. Thanks for coming ladies :) Here are some pics Last one - panorama that didn't work so well! All my photos are here - https://picasaweb.google.com/adamlaws1974/TCCACarsCoffeeDonutsApril2011# Sing out if you want a high res copy of any of them.
