    On a positive note, all that stuff you have replaced will make it a MUCH nicer car to drive. Bit of a bummer to need to spend the dosh, but that is the way it is with old cars.

    Daihatsu won't be in a presentable state yet.. still has the crunch in the left quarter to fix. Plus Neroli doesn't like the annoyingly loud exhaust. Neither do I come to think of it! Am steadfastly resisting spending money on it though until I have sold the Corolla..

    Some photos from Rob Roy Hillclimb two weeks ago. Taken by Gary Hill of Elgee Words and Pictures. I was pretty slow - 36 second first run in the dry when I was still figuring it all out, then it was wet and the best I could manage was a 37 second something. Another guy in the club got down to a 33 or 34 in the wet which was pretty good going! Here are the pics:

    It won't be just a bolt in, but your parts will fit if you are prepared to make mods to cross members etc.

    I haven't got any pics of rear suspension in my racer but I know it could be better. Axle tramp is bad, especially in the wet last weekend at Rob Roy hillclimb. Has koni reds in the rear, but they perhaps need a service...

    I have always understood that the ball joint tapers were different. *E7* guys don't seem to worry about it, and I haven't read of any disasters as a result, but its not something I would risk on my car when racing. Each person has their own level of comfort with mods. I wouldn't put chopped falcon springs in my car either, but plenty of guys do :)
