Alrighty, So i took the green terror (as its been named at work) for the Hachi Roku 2010 annual cruise on sunday. While the car performed perfectly, i've come up with a list of what will need doing. Front strut brace. Replace struts with the XT130's i have, still need to build them (4kg Coilovers, 86 shocks, RA60 discs, MX62 calipers) Sigma LCA's Install new rear leaves (Got them, just need new bushes) Custom rear swaybar. Wider wheels. Wider Tyre with a lower profile. Really eyeing off some diamond racing wheels again.

Wagon and Pano cruise soon. Good weather coming up :cool:

Atm I'm running a standard Asian carb, whilst it goes great. I'm currently having issues with the mixture screw winding itself out as I'm driving. Anyone had issues with this? If so, how have you fixer'd it? Thinking of getting a stronger spring to go under the head to hold it tighter.

Just an all round "coulda been better" don't get me wrong it went well but it lacked down low. I brought in a heap from NZ about 2months ago.

Tried the old wheel as a slide hammer? I did the same thing to a disc braked corona at the wreckers, i used the disc backwards on both and they came out first try.

Go for the 1 3/4. It's what i'll be going with for the 4k in the 38, plus its the outlet size of the extractors i have. Had a 2" on the 30 and thought it coulda been better. Great progress tho, looking awesome!

For my paint job we used acrylic basecoat and that was mixed 1:1 with R198 basecoat reducer. We used 2pac primer and clear on mine but the process would be the same i guess. Layed the primer down, hit any runs with 320, then took of the orange peel with an 800 wet sand. A few coats of colour Then 2 coats of clear (i have a flake in the 1st coat, 2nd coat with straight clear so we could polish it)

Are you sure the pistons are interchangable. Maybe 4k into 3K, but having asked the question before I'm sure the 3K pistons wont fit due to not having the skirt scalloped for the 4K counter weight due to the longer stroke of the 4k crank.

Mate picked one up not long ago. ADM, rather good condition, 16v Swap already done..... managed to get it for like $5k.
