  1. Cheers Josh! Many thanks for the COTY nomination!
  2. Here! I have one here in Adelaide if your keen.
  3. Danger to manifold.
  4. More electrickery installed today. Ditched the Davies Craig thermo controller in favour of a Tridon thermo switch. Much more neatness. Turns out to be the same switch used by a member on here who races speedway (name escapes me now) 95-90 on-off temp. Which is the same as what the book recommends for the ol' 4k. P/N for the recommended 4k switch: TFS 151. (switches to ground) The one I used: TFS 148. (switches power) Actually intended for Subarus! Pics to follow.
  5. Looks like a great base car!
  6. Now thats a CLEAN KE70!!
  7. Maybe see if they can do a 200mm clutch with the K 19 spline? I know a 4age pressure plate bolts up to a 5k flywheel, so there's deffinatly a sports tuff pressure plate to suit.
  8. Stood up to my abuse in the KE30.

Spotted yet ANOTHER KE50/55p. Approx 5:30pm, Reynell Rd Woodcroft. Really light yellow, driven by a P plater.
  10. How soon you looking at getting the MSD stuff Tom? Coil seems to be coping so far. Hopefully it keeps going long enough. Took it for a 3 1/2hr drive yesterday and didnt have a single issue. Ordered a Tridon Thermo switch today also, will get rid of the adjustable Davies Craig switch and the Tridon one will screw directly into the thermostat housing. I seem to have 2 temp senders for some reason, maybe old emmisions gear. The 2nd one on the passenger side will be replaced with the new one.
  11. Ahk, They look the part for sure!
  12. Lookin great mate! Are they Lukes old Hayashi Streets?
  13. Button part number was for Ev dogga. Remembered the 5k is a 200mm clutch. Dunno if they do a 200mm kit with a K series friction plate? Unless your running a 4k flywheel?
  14. Exedy in reply to both Posts. I used a Exedy Sports Tuff in my 30, I recommend it! TYK-6036HD for the HD and TYK-6036HDB for the button variant.

    My Ke55

I had my MSD 6A installed and running in under 2hrs. Installation is easy. PM me if you need help. But being the programmable version, i'd say more time would go into getting it running/programming.
  17. Got the diode installed today, works just like it should! Also got an SV21 thermo installed too, controlled by a Davies Craig thermo switch. Still a bit of adjusting but the fan's working awesome!

  21. Ahahaha, Cheers man. Ahhh, the hammer of smashed crumpet. Will complete my collection  Can you get MSD blaster 2 coils too? Directly thru MSD or Rocket? PM/txt with a price on eash and get one ready for next friday :y:
  22. Get a tube installed maybe?. Shouldnt have leaking wheel issues again.
  23. Lookin' good mate. Sounds good! I agree, 225ml into a 45lt fill up works out at 200:1 40-50ml into a 45lt fill up works out from 1125:1 to 900:1 :o
  24. Yea, i do realise its a balast resistor model. I spoke to a local mechanic and he said i shouldnt have any issues with it. Either way, I'll be getting an MSD blaster 2 coil when funds permit.
  25. Bought it 12 months ago off toymods. Brand new in box, uncut looms, stickers etc. $130 to my door.
