  7. good chance it's actually a ke11 :)
  8. sorry, a new members thread such as this one: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=24460 -dave
  9. without trying to be rude.... in the last month or so, many people have been joining Rollaclub, and making their first post something like this one, that shows they haven't put any thought into the question, are after something unrealistic, and have no intention on doing their own research into the subject. if you would like some feedback (and serious answers,) try using the search function to see if you can find some other threads in this forum that relate to ke70's, and you may find some mods that someone else has done and that they have recorded what they did. once found and you have read as much as you can on the subject, try posting up a members ride page, so people can see what you've got, and then put up some posts that say i'm thinking of doing this and that to my car whuch i have researched and have some understanding of what is required, what do you guy's think... it's not too hard to introduce yourself in the new members area either... *end rant*.... f@$k me i'm a rude bastard with too much time on my hands... p.s. i love old rollas with a passion. my first was a ke70 wagon in metallic blue. i put extractors and a 2inch exhaust on it, got the rear springs reset lower, put pedders low springs and kyb shocks in the front, put some various mags on at different stages in it's life, chucked in some different stereo combo's too. one of the best cars i've ever owned. bulletproof cars if looked after. -dave
  10. oh shit, man that is awful. my condolences to you and your family. -dave. R.I.P. Josh.
  11. nice work, that is a really nice example of an early ke20. not sure where the 9 came from... maybe a typo on reg label or something? love to see even more photos of this car when you've got a moment, maybe start a members ride thread? as for fuel leaking prob, i personally don't know which cap is available for this car, but i would think that something is out there for it. you may have to stop filling it right up as this may be a reason for it surging out around corners. you may need to get another rubber seal to put on your cap. it may be adaptable from a late 70's early 80's model. good luck with it all -dave
  12. hi suet, welcome to rollaclub, A picture of the car and your location will definetely help us solve the problem... ke29 aren't common... further description? as a totally unhelpful suggestion, i'd try driving around the block the other way and see if that fixes the problem... :lolcry: -dave
  13. would love to see more photos of this one... current if possible. i'd love to buy this if it were in melb. can't drive up to brisbane at the moment :laff: -dave
  14. glad to have you along. brought a nice mix to the crew. your ride is awesome. it's the only car i took photos of the whole day. sounds awesome too. ever want to sell it let me know :( but i guess you never will. -dave. p.s. nice work avoiding the yellow windscreen accesory. :lolcry: .
  15. carbon fibre bonnet.... you know you want to :laff: at least gloss black? looking good dave. -dave
  16. i didn't read the post so well.. ke motor and box require a cable clutch as the lever is a pull style one. you'd have to mount the slave cylinder behind the lever to push forward. this would not be worthwhile. better off finding a motor/box combo that requires hydraulic clutch pedal before deciding to upgrade to a hydraulic clutch. -dave
  17. [sidenote: i'd love to see pics of the tandem master cylinder. did you have to butcher the firewall? what was the master out of? ] as for hydraulic clutch, anything's possible, but whether it's worth while.
  18. :lolcry: no probs johno, steak stayed down all night thankfully. :lolcry: levin was a really good ride, while it had firm suspension, it was compliant enough, and had zero body roll. stefan was a relaxed driver. i liked that. and matt (78_7Krolla), i'm looking forward to it... :( maybe the celica club cruise along the same roads? november 9 i think? -dave
  19. anti terror laws ftl... wouldn't reccomend this one...
  20. scroll down to the bottom of the first page... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=15638 care to reconsider? :) -dave
  21. great cruise andrew, no worries on the warning, i have fully recovered :) thanks to all drivers who took me as a passenger, i enjoyed experiencing other rolla's. see you out and about some other time. -dave
  22. i'm in for a kalander. would love to see lots of mega hot rolla's. as for the group photos, how about a collage for the folks who couldn't bring a car to a group shot, but could email a pic or two? -dave
  23. what part of the world are you in fresnoboi? sounds like a great project, would love to see some pics of the car as is... welcome to rollaclub, -dave
  24. could anybody offer the services of a decent photographer??? maybe for some 'feature' cars... also would be interested in the possibility of doing a poster book of some forum cars??? would you look into it as well? if it was a similiar price for some sweet a3 sized posters of favourite rollaclub cars i'd buy it. -dave ps, good job.
