  1. OK, you got me, i should have said the tread of the tyre will be under the guard, with about 2" rim sticking out :hmm:
  2. widened steelies under stock (lipped) guards. win. should be able to get some stretch under those guards. (factory ke20 guards can take 9" slicks untubbed. that's a reason they're popular for drag racers. ;) ) therefore, theoretically you should be able to fit 10" of rim with 8" of tyre no probs under your stock guards. :hmm: do it.
  3. nice one. will you be starting a for sale thread?
  4. maybe he means cam buckets for his twin cam motor.
  5. it'll buff out
  6. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :) i'm sure with an alternative set of rims that had massive dish, some people would be converted to see it's potential :jamie: funny though, if it's so ugly, how come it's been bid over a grand? btw: muzke30, you clearly missed my point about not saying blunt comments like "that's ugly" if you have an opinion (which we all do) then you can state "i think that is ......such and such... and then you've said your bit without speaking for anybody else. -Dave
  7. as much as i don't necessarily like all the mods done to this particular car, it's comments like these that stop people from trying new things, pioneering new paths and creating awesome cars. can we try to keep civil and discuss how we like/dislike the mods, and what we like about the car rather than shoot it down with such contempt. i'd hate to think that newbie's to Rollaclub would think that this is what we are about. -Dave
  8. what sort of rolla's take your fancy?
  9. dude that is awesome. i have stretched 155/65 on 13x 7 and 7.5s i'd prefer 175/50/13 tho.
  10. AGED71 then do nanna spec mods ;
  11. i may be able to help out with the storage side of things :y: even at a reasonable rate :hammer:
  12. nice work :D i will look forward to seeing this on the street. what are your plans for the old 5k?
  13. depends if you're buying or selling ;) if i was selling: 3000-6000 if i was buying ;) 300-600 :D +1 for pics
  14. have a look on u-tube for the starlet cup series in japan. screaming k motors in starlets with massive massive flares. a good watch :)

  16. there are multiple ways. one, cut the welds holding the centre in to your old outers, buy new outers of desired width. weld centres in. two, cut two rims at different widths, and weld together. use four rims to make two. neither are advised for a diy attempt, unless offroad use. you can buy new wheel outers for on road use, and they can be done professionally. -dave btw, i have some stock ke35-55 steel centres in brand new ROH 13x7 outers, (could be made in any offset desired within reason)
  17. it's all good, i've found a factory in s.e. melb suburbs to house them all and all my parts, and it will be good to work on them there :| i'll end up selling a few off to make it easier to find a house next time i have to move, and once i buy my own place i'll start hoarding again :) :D -Dave
  18. thanks Doogs, i'm looking at leasing a factory to house them while i work on them to make them more desirable for other people to buy. should all work out in the end
  19. hi Chika, i have three for sale threads at the moment, an AE71, three KE11's, and a convertible KE20. all will need work to get RWC, none are Registered, they were all my long term projects that i cannot house any more. thanks for keeping me in mind  -dave
  20. I have a Ke11 that needs a new caretaker. straight body, all chrome, no interior except for uncracked dashpad (unobtanium) some rust, needs 100% new paint. see thread for details http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=27883
  21. will keep all offers in mind. thanks guys :)
  22. Hi, i appreciate the offer, i'll keep it in mind, but i'd like to keep them in as few places as possible, so if i find somewhere for all or even half, that would be better for me than having one here and one there etc. thanks tho. -dave
  23. i'm slowly trying to get rid of them all, so it would be couple months at worst, depends if i find a good rental property for 16 cars. :P your choice of drivable or not, i've got both  -dave
  24. Are you thinking of running a (remote) booster at all for the front brakes? there's already a valiant master cylinder, so why not a CH valiant or similiar VH44 remote booster? :P -dave
  25. can i put these 2 in the carport? lol :P
