  1. I'm going to take a stab and say its not engineered? lol. TT buick would definitely get it up and going!
  2. The cltuch shudder could just be the new clutch wearing in, but with some dual mass-single mass conversions, you get some shudder in the drivetrain. As for the exhaust being off centre in the cutouts, just jump under, unbolt it from the car or wherever the last flange is, have someone pull it to the centre and then tighten it up. Suprising how much movement there can be in such a simple thing (2 bolt or even 3 bolt flange)
  3. havent updated this for a bit, but anyway, copy paste from another thread after the weekend- some pictures from the lead up to, and the weekend at toranafest- real helpful sidekick- Karlie hard at work-
  4. will it restart once its stalled? is it easy to start again or do you need to apply throttle?

  9. whoops! that will definitely be interesting then!
  10. Each year is a smaller fraction of the total amount of years you have been living. Therefore, every year you live, your subconcious will continue to make it feel like each year goes "faster" scary shit really, older you get, the less time you think you are getting.
  11. obviously it depends on the model and how the dash is setup, but if its just the dash facia, heaps of cars have the same LHD and RHD dash facias (talking early stuff) LJ toranas were exported OS in LHD, so the glovebox lid and the dash facia are interchangeable lol
  12. Looks like it slipped and gripped pretty well! ʞ©$ɟ me. she farked mayte!
  13. I'm not really sure what he was trying to achieve there....
  14. WHERE DO I GET ONE!!!!!!?????
  15. Whats the go with these and engineering?
  16. Trevs on the ball with his reply, I run/ran a welded centre in the LJ track car, Detroit lockers are way too expensive for holden Banjos, so its the next best option. Most all out (well all us old school guys) run detroit lockers or spools.
  17. what sort of knick are the tailights in? Also, when you're done, I'd be intersted in the dizzy injection setup (incl computer) Starwars (LED) dash?
  18. I can see a few problems off the bat- The curve in the boot of the LC/LJ wont match the square edge of the KE70 boot, The next problem would be the mounting, I'm not sure on how low the KE70 boot lid rolls over the edge, but there might not be enough meat to mount the bobtail in the vertical section. What measurements do you want (I have a couple of these floating about.... comes with the territory) You can also buy them brand new from a few places, they arent that expensive either.
  19. very handy for a lot of people! Weber bits are bloody expensive, so knowing a baseline to work from is exceptionally helpful!
  20. try finding somewhere with decent 4G coverage though! there are like 2 spots on the Central Coast with 4G, both are shithole areas and that's it for the whole region.... I've got a 4G mobile broadband card for work, my phone is faster than the bloody thing (tethered via WiFi to the laptop) don't know why, the mobile card just seems to be shitty in my area, even when my telstra serviced phone has full reception
  21. Open to Offers, willing to sell with different wheels for less as well.
  22. yup, when I was growing up, the more bend in your cap, the cooler! I remember using elastic bands, coffee cups and a heap of shit to get the bend perfect.
  23. pictures help?
  24. Getting older. Was trying to suss out a noise in the seca on the way home from the folks last night (after playing Racecars :D ) was speeding (seemed that it was only making the noise in 5th) and running over the little reflectors in the middle of a two lane divided road Came into the round about a bit quick, turning right, VE sitting going the opposite way, decides to come in behind me... Looked in the rearview, thought, that is either the dark grey VE that lives up the road.... orrrrrrr..... Then I'm thinking, ohh poo, I know the brake light has been playing up (bad contact, needs a whack every now and then to get it working again) Slowed down for the speed humps (I'm only about 1k from home, had just turned off the main road) So slowly slowly, indicate here, indicate there..... Red and blues.... Licence check, as soon as he looked at me, my licence and the fact I lived just over the hill, he didnt even look at the fact that the brake light was out, the plastics are missing in the rear (fixing a leak) and that its illegally low :D didnt even get RBTd
