  1. Might wanna edit your signature now Dan to - 4AGE all fitted and rockin'" :ninja:
  2. If I pull the cable all the way out, there is physically no where to place the E-clip (americans call 'em Lock Washers :ninja:). Will have to try again next weekend. I'm just wondering if there is a physical difference between a K40 and K50 clutch fork.
  3. Can't half tell you've been drinking :ninja: Anyway, back on topic.

    I wasnt stating that a 4A-E is better than a 4AGE... :ninja:

The 4A-E has an electronic distributor and makes more power than a 4A-C. I've seen the info on the net, so google it :ninja:
  6. Double-checked the gearbox before i put it in and removed the clutch fork as well. Actually....now you got me thinking. What IF I had used the 4 speed clutch fork in the 5 Speed gearbox? Would that f@$k things up?

Yep. You also gotta mod the supercharger outlet too.
  8. Clutch fork and throwout bearing are fine Clutch was aligned before i put the gearbox on the motor The selector shaft seems fine....
  9. Well, its running but not driving. After getting it all together, the car decides that it wants to be a bitch when engaging gears. In saying that, yes I have put the clutch in the right way (as far as the dodgy gregory's manual tells me). So does anyone have any ideas on what could be the issue with it not engaging gears properly at all?
  10. Good to see I've changed someone's mind :ninja: I thought I'd get a little arty with my photography and it came out resonably well, so I'm happy :hmm:
  11. Haha, tape deck. I have one here, its just that it doesnt like burnt cd's and I need the wiring loom for it. don't have a Kenwood wiring loom do you?
  12. I'd just play along with it :ninja:
  13. Oh, the Drift Wagon may be making an appearance on this trip :ninja: Decided that the Supra is too thirsty on fuel, though the drift wagon has no music, so I'll see if i can get the Supra up to scratch for the trip :hmm:
  14. Motor goes in tomorrow! :ninja:
  15. Here goes my story. Tonight I decided to go out for a cruise with my best friend Renee. So, we decide to head down to Glenelg and we went the back way through a suburb called West Beach. Well, i'm driving along and see something on the road and think "oh, its just a paper bag or something so it wont matter if i hit it". Well, I was damn wrong on that decision. I hit this so called paper bag at 60km/h and i hear a massive thud under the car, like a rock had hit under the car. So I pull over and check out the car and everything seemed fine and then went back to check on what I'd hit. To my suprise I'd just had my first encounter with a Tortoise that had been previously hit by someone else but I managed to clean it up fairly well this time. We'll call the Tortoise, Koopa (Koopa Troopa from Mario Kart :ninja:) At this point there is some drunk guy trying to get me to stop my car so I leave, head into Glenelg and then turn around and come back 10 mins later, and there it is, sitting upside down where i left it. So I stop the car, put my parkers on (as its near a corner) and walk over to the Tortoise. It's retracted into its shell and gone into protective mode. I attempt to pickup the Tortoise and it hisses at me, so at this point I know its alive. I gently kick/tap the shell to the side of the road and wonder what the hell I'm going to do with this Tortoise. I had no rags to pick it up with and nothing in my car to put it in, so I suss out which part of the shell houses his head and pick him up and place him in the boot on my boot carpet. Then I drive to a service station and get a box to put him in. Renee is already freaked out by lizards and anything reptilian, so I had to force her to have this box with her on the floor in the front seat with Koopa inside. Anyway, I'm like 20km from home and I only know of one 24 hour Vet that is open up my way, so we make the trip to the Vet. On the way there, Koopa decides that he wants to get a little active and starts moving around in the box, Renee starts to stress and I pull over and have a look. So by this time, we know Koopa is alive and well but his shell has a big gouge in it from where i hit him in the KE25, but other than that, everything looked fine and his shell didnt seem cracked or anything. So we get to the Vet and tell him what happened and he has a laugh and says that a Tortoise shell is pretty indestructable and that he would check over Koopa and then pass him on to the Fauna Rescue people to keep an eye on him and then they'll release him back into the wild. And in all the ruckus, I happened to leave my fuel cap at a service station on the way there, as I was smelling fuel, so I drove back without any sudden turns and got the cap and took Renee home and that was my adventurous night. Anyone else hit anything unusual in their car?
  16. Haha, V8's will get any of the E-series Falcon 6 Cylinder model's from 120km/h and up. :ninja:
  17. He's wondering how much air they push at 1-2psi. I'm not sure on those specs, come to think of it, i've never seen them listed anywhere.
  18. Seen that one before haha.
  19. I have myspace. The reason I have it was when I was in a band, I used it to communicate with other Adelaide bands and organise shows. I'm sill planning to get back into a band at some point though :ninja:
  20. AU engine :hmm: My 5 Speed EA would munch AU's for Lunch :ninja:
  21. Shush you, I made a typo :'(
  22. If you gave it a slight dent, the heat from the oil probably made the metal expand and that in turn popped the dent out. I personally wouldnt worry about it too much, but if you think there is a chance that the inside of the oil filter is damaged, buy another one and fit it for peaece (peace) of mind.
  23. Even if you used toyota injection, a fuel pressure regulator would stop them from opening from the pressure of the VL Turbo fuel pump anyway as the excess fuel would just get returned to the tank.
  24. CFI = Centrepoint Fuel Injection. This was the CFI motor I had removed from my EA Falcon before I had the MPFI motor fitted. As you can see, it was a down-draught injection set-up, not side-draught as Dan mentioned earlier.
  25. Obviously you didnt read my post regarding TBI Cameron. The EA Falcon with TBI never came out with Smartlock. So just use an EA ECU.
