  4. this thing looks sweet, sweet ass rims man, loving the bumpers i shud have kept with my 4k, its cost me $1000 so far to rebuild my 4age and get parts.
  5. hey i flushed my cooling system, heater elements and all, i remember i put in all of the 5L bottle i got from Kmart but that was filling up the reserve too, i filled up the radiator then put my heater on and started my engine, sucked heaps into the heater and i just filled it up more.
  6. there is heaps there on my topic http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=28622
  7. i rethought the green because my interior is blue so it will look wierd, I'm starting to think of metallic blue. hopefully ill have this in my car by my birthday, 15 october, so that i can do some b-day dirt drifting. yay, need to buy all the A series things like cross member ive got the late model ke70, must have been one of the last ones made because it was made in september 84
  8. yay someone got it, being able to tell what car it is by the style and being able to see past the add-ons is a talent
  9. try to look around the door area
  10. ok now this car looks like crap, and has been heavily modified externally
  11. *claps* you deserve a medal :P
  12. :P just found out yesterday that my head is bent, need to pay a mate $500 to get it straightened and all put back together. upside of this is that my head will be better than new when i get it back, and will be ready to go straight back on. i have painted my extractors and rocker covers black, still need to put a clear coat on. used VHT 800°C paint have just completed the honing of the engine, and just letting it rust a little bit now under the bench, will have to put a hold on the block while i save up for the head
  13. it is a one off but its not based on a corvette. i knew this one would stump people, its a wicked car, kinda looks like something from a cartoon, *HINT* made in the 60's by chrysler
  14. i got a tough one...
  15. yeh i didnt think the t18 Xmember would fit, bit pissed off now. thanks all
  16. i think that they were attempting to make something that looked hell streamlined, but they ended up with a piece of $#!T maybe if i put a merc badge on my keto i can get some girlies :P haha
  17. ford taurus no doubt kinda look like it got pinched of a bit early :P
  18. i have been sold a t-18 cross member and told it would work in my 4k-4a conversion, i was also told that the t series gearbox would fit, as i have tried the gearbox and it didn't work so I'm starting to wonder if the Xmember will work too.
  19. i don't know much on this, was thinking of doing it so here is the threads i was looking at. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=3987 hope it helps a lil
  20. this sounds very risky, id imagine it would blow the gasket with half the effort might be possible with metal head gasket? buy a single thicker one, with two there would be a massive soft spot. cost less in long run to buy thick gasket "but can touch the pistons or modify the head" is this supposed to be "but CAN'T touch the pistons or head"??
  21. i agree, like many have said before "there is no replacement for displacement!" reboring a 4k and getting pistons and ring would cost almost as much as a 5k, only difference is that a 5k has more potential.
  22. this is the best i could come up with from the faq, its referring to race pistons for 4K's 0.160". Apart from the fact you'll have little bore wall left and will probably crack the block the first time you rev it hard hope this helps
  23. what problem are you having? need description for people to help
  24. hey i tried my T-18 gearbox on my engine and it doesnt fit, the bellhousing is WAY too big, none of the holes fit up. :y: now i gotta buy another but at least we all learned a lesson,
  25. this seems very possible, i would be interested in seeing someone elses attempt at this. if you were going to do this you would have to use a decent paint though, unless you wanna do it every 2 years
