the motor was running perfect before i rebuilt it apart from the smoke caused by the warped head so are they round when they start off? i think ill go to toyota and buy some new ones cheers for all the help people

cheers for that, yeh i have already replaced the o-ring that goes in the fuel rail with super high pressure ones that are made for hydraulic lifts so it can withstand plenty. ive got wierd big o-rings on my injectors, they sorta look like a square donut. about 4mm tall 3mm wide and was thinking that they might cost more than 5 bux

i would say that it sounds like tailshaft because of the speedo shuddering, or possibly even clutch out of alignment

grant scott and littleredspirit have both proven that red is a brilliant colour for E7's i was kinda hoping to build a car that is good enough to be shown at car shows, my friend had his integra at an auto salon 4 years back wont be painting it until ive repaid my parents and got my car fully licenced, that way when its painted i can take it out on a cruise straight away cheers for the opinions on the colour
-

finished off putting the engine accessories onto the engine today, extractors, intake manifold and water pipes are now fully installed and almost ready to start filling the radiator. put the splash guard back on after trimming away some metal for the 4age sump to fit made my stock ke70 accelerator cable fit the 4age by cutting it down 450mm

hi all, I'm doing a 4age into ke70 conversion and have come across one of many problems, the rubber on the motor side of my injectors don't fit snuggly into the holes, they slip in and out with no effort. my question is, is this how they are supposed to be or do i need to invest in a new set of rubber rings? my thoughts are that when the fuel rail pressurizes the injectors gets pushed into the hole and they seal from the amount of force placed on them from the fuel rail. any help appreciated cheers
-
ive looked at mine today and it drains straight out onto the road. will reconnect at some point but if you make it look real they wont know any diff as long as you don't have emissions diagram on your bonnet

Celica Ta22 Engine Swap - Whats Possible?
kiahn replied to TA22Denmark's topic in Engine Conversions
btw a 4age will NOT bolt up to a T series box, i have tried and its out by about an inch. i think a 2tgte would be pretty awesome and has been done plenty of times before so there is heaps of info out there -
yeh i think everyones cars are on the mend atm, I'm thinking another 2 months and i'll have my 4age ke70 working so a cruise then would be the perfect testing ground. ive got a brilliant windy road that we can go on, its on the very end of welshpool road and it head towards brookton where i ride my bike. its perfect for cruises and ive never seen a coppa there.
