  1. I'll go almost any time
  2. I think it's absolutely amazing this motor. I'd love to see/hear one running. Here's a little more info! Tom's 3k-R
  3. I didn't know Norway had the same standards as Australia. :y:
  4. Go the 4age! :y: Do regular KE70/AE71 tail lights fit in this car? I've never seen the tail lights like the ones you have. They look a little out of place. It's probably because I've only seen two types.
  5. :) I agree with what corolla nut said. If you say it's a one-owner AE71 it's probably worth a bit of money. I'd sell it and buy a bad example of a KE70 since you're only going to cut the crap out of it and drop a commonwhore motor in it or use it as a drift pig. Otherwise.. Yes, you can put a VN V6 in it if you have the know how and tools to put your know how to good use.
  6. Very interesting read! I second that.
  7. Mmm.. Agree with Teddy! Beer :)
  8. Holy crap that's a sweet Rolla in the previous pics. I agree. Go down the looks road. You'll respect your car a lot more when it looks good. I remember when I used to hate my KE70 when it had its stocko rims. It looked as if it could never look cool. Then I put some average rims on it and now it's the coolest car in the driveway! :)
  9. It's a bit hard to compare two COMPLETELY different cars. RA28's are a classic sports coupe. whereas Corolla's are an oldschool passenger vehicle. TOTALLY DIFFERENT LEAGUE! If I had the choice, I'd own both. Especially that grey RA28 :) When I had a day left on my rego permit for my KE36 I drove it to school and not one person ignored it. As soon as I got out of my car... "Nice corolla man"... walk across the road, "is that yours Vinnie, it's sweet" all day I was getting compliments about the car! I'm sure the same would be said if I drove an RA28 like the grey one, though! :)
  10. Very clean mate. Nice score for $500! Good luck with it
  11. Yea, servo's have em... Although you may get them cheaper from some places that specialize in trailer hire. Just check yellow pages. $49.50 for 4 hours I got. Didn't check the prices on the servo jobs though.
  12. I gotta admit it does look pretty sweet :) Poor guards :y:
  13. There's a head identification page in the FAQ's. Here is the link! K Motor Heads
  14. Link To Wrecking Page Most parts for sale. Seats aren't for sale sorry. Going towards my KE70. Found out they're worth like 1200 brand new EACH anyway :y:
  15. What's a twin squish head?
  16. It's already in action or thinking about it?! :D
  17. I second that! Top work on the suspension. How do you mean polish your car with WD40?! Either way, it looks really nice with the rims, matte paint, quad lights and suspension. Your bonnet pins stick out like a sore thumb :D Good luck with the rest of the suspension and car.
  18. Imagine the cost of tyres....
  19. It's only if you had a KE70 5 speed the extension housing has the shifter in a different position and you would need to either swap over to a KE20/30/55 extension housing OR, cut a whole into your transmission tunnel!
  20. Nice car. There was a pano VERY similar to this in Canberra I saw. Looks awesome :D EDIT: Is that one of them spinny air vent things that go on top of buses?!
  21. Lock much?! Very individual car. I like it! :D
  22. 4age conversion would be better. It's almost a bolt-in operation and it's a much better motor. It's the most popular AE71 conversion by far and the simplest, most effective.
  23. When I first joined this forum I was a little blurry on cars and motors etc. but even after being on here for approx 6 months I've learned quite a lot about my car and how they work etc. I haven't learned everything I'd like to - in fact I have barely scratched the surface! If I were you I'd learn a bit more about what is out there, what it does and how much etc. it can't really be answered on an internet forum in 15 minutes. There is a lot to think about as engine conversions aren't cheap. Good luck! ps. 4age's may be small, but they are definitely not weak. They're one of the punchiest 4 cyl motors out! EDIT: You say 4agze's are weak? This just gave me a hard-on :) 4agze 0-100 in MR2
  24. 5k solid lifter conversion Them ones!
