  1. Dragways would look 'uckin awesome!.. This what you're talking about?
  2. That's right. Buying better/cleaner bars would be a lot cheaper than getting them re-chromed. They aren't too hard to find, just keep a look out in the "wrecking" section on here as people strip KE55's all the time. However you will probably be very satisfied if you get them re-chromed, but your wallet won't be.
  3. If you're in 3rd, it won't go hard at full throttle till about 60 from my experiences. Good luck with the carby!
  4. 73/74 or 93/94? You have 7x in the topic title and 9x in the topic itself. If you have a photo we can identify it for you! If it's a 73/74 2 door it could be a KE20 or a KE25, where KE25 is the coupe version. Ke20's (in Australia) are also 2 door, but have a shorter back end. Here are some links to good examples of each car. KE20 - RA28GT's KE20 Corolla KE25 - Queen20V's KE25 Corolla As for turbo motors, there aren't many that will drop straight in with little or no modification. 4age's or 4agze's are a popular conversion with all KE Corolla's, but are not a turbo motor. CA18DET and SR20DET are probably the next most popular motors to be put into these cars. After that, Rotary motors would be the next most popular motors for turbo conversions. All of which do require a certain amount of modifications and upgrades to complete the conversion.
  5. Check the level of the OLD oil to make sure it's full(ish) and then drain it. Once done, check how much oil you drained by pouring that into an old oil bottle. Then, fill up how much you drained!
  6. Car and repairs are coming along nicely! The import bar you have looks good, but not as good as the regular bar. It just doesn't "blend in". If you didn't have the Kamei it might suit, though. Good luck with the 4k, but I think you should have sourced a 5k :P
  7. Haha, as far as I can tell it has rego too.. imagine that on the streets!
  8. I know where you live :P You and your brother have bloody nice examples of KE Rolla's!
  9. That rear suspension setup looks pretty sweet
  10. Ahh, how were the Toyo Nationals? Would have liked to go but funds did not permit. What car/s do you drive Sammo?
  11. Haha, that's the right words... "WOW" 15x10 four stud is insane. You look for wheels that are too wide lol
  12. I'd go down the "nicely fillled guards" road with your car. I really like the style of them superlites with the polished dish and centre. Maybe something similar to this, but not quite so wide would look the part! Good luck, and whatever you do... do NOT cut your guards.
  13. Nice number plate.. :P FAIL
  14. Seeing it tonight lol. So far have watched the first three (only no. 2 in the Cinemas) and haven't enjoyed them that much. Some of the "amazing" driving stunts that they do are disappointing because they are almost all CGI and just don't have that WOW factor. I have to say I liked the car race between Sean and the Jock at the start of Tokyo Drift. IT WAS REAL! (most)
  15. That 120Y is a really nice colour! Hurry up and put your new Enkei rims on :jamie: EDIT: That's a huge mother of a number plate on the 120Y!
  16. Hi Everyone. I've just bought a set of Cheviot Hotwire rims 14x7's and need a set of CHEVIOT centre caps to match. Can anybody refer to any 2nd hand hubcap or centre cap dealers around Aus or wheel shops which sell them. The ones that I need stopped being made 25 or so years ago so aren't a common thing for wheel shops to have. Or if you have a set you'll sell! MY WANTED ADD
  17. Make a mold while Raven's not looking!
  18. Definitely needs flares! I really hope you have stiff suspension, because I (and others) sure as hell don't want to see them guards cut up haha
  19. 2 KE20's worth plus a bit more! (and a bit more again)
  20. Spotted a very nice looking KE20 on Ginninderra Dr on the blustery day it was today. Almost crashed when I saw it! Don't see them very often here. It looked a lot like the 2-tone blue and silver one that's been for sale for quite a while. 18's, 4age, and a heap of other nice stuff... except this one had steelies.
  21. Hahahahahahahhahahaha.... ME!!!! I didn't get booked. I have a blown up exhaust mani gasket due to a small hole being enlarged from a long drive. I told him that was the case and that I'm planning to fix it my next pay, so he let me off... One of my co-drivers came up and was being a know-it-all to the cop and as soon as he left the cop said "If you had an attitude like that bloke I'da booked ya straight away!" You didn't spot the RC sticker?
  22. I love it when you can make something look a million bucks just from a bit of time and effort. Looks like you have a nice little project there, Yeshi! Good luck with the 5k.
  23. You are right... That does look pretty beast! I assume you're going for that look? Although on the bottom photo (front look) the rear flare looks out of place. It doesn't flow with the body.
