  2. do a quick search on the forums, its been discussed many times here alone!! I can't think of anyone here who has accually gone through with it once they see the costs involved (me included....)
  3. All your gearbox mounts, engine mounts, Diff link mount, basically any rubber mounting that could be perished will make your car defective (ive got a list as long as my arm for the celica....) But one stop are dodgy as they come so you wont have any problems....
  4. Just out of curiosity why are you using water/meth with an LPG powered motor? the LPG alone should have a good enough cooling effect and I think your going to find the water/meth a detriment in this case. Just a thought...
  5. Be aware they are cracking down on dodgy roadworthies. If the place that does your roadworthy gets convicted you will be called upon to present your car for reinspection. Washer jets? don't be a tool and fix it. Its small, easy to fix so just do it.
  6. I bet it doesnt have a thread on it does it? My celica has a stubby little "shifter" Its just there to put the flashy handle on. Your not accually supposed to put the knob striaght on it.
  7. My father (who works for qld transport) rencently dragged serveral approved persons through court for dodgy stuff (approved persons are the guys that do mod plates, roadworthies etc etc). They are facing upto 9 years jail time. So I think you'll find the mood from approved persons will be changing alot in the coming months.

  10. not as far as I know. Last time I took out a cross member we just dropped the struts and all out. Undid the 4 bolts and it dropped out.
  11. leaf spring to 5 link is not gonna be simple. And if your gonna DIY then youd better get custom ajustable links or your rear ends gonna be so badly out of alignment.
  12. Yea theres 2 holes up underneath the piston. You might be able to get some in but I dunno if its gonna help.

  15. didnt come with new gugeon pins?! To get mine out I think I grabbed a short piece of dowel and punched It through. Just make sure you take the circlips out :D

  19. rope...very very bad idea. We were lifting 20kg cheek plates out of a crusher last weekend and we ended up having to weld lifting lugs on them because the rope wouldnt hold. Get yourself some steel rope (at least). Shouldnt set you back much with hooks on either end.

  21. Awww how cute. I can read IHI. It LOOKS like a Honda City turbo...turbo. 1.2 litre intercooled SOHC non cross flow running 12psi stock. So if this is going on a 1.6L 4A-GE then your gonna run out of puff pretty quick. Theyre also not cheap to rebuild
  22. TYRE PRESSURE!! just pump them suckers up to 35+psi and the side walls will be stiff as shit. 205/65 btw...not that that makes much difference.

  24. beats me. I take it the front pulley is for the Aircon pump? If it is just re drill the bracket or make a new one for the supercharger to sit it forward a cm or so.
  25. yea I just saw the picture. You can get underdrive pulleys (from NEVO) for the altenator and water pump, but I recon you'll start running out of room. Maybe remove the clutch from the supercharger and put a smaller wheel on there. Thats what the V8 guys do. I don't think Id be running an SC14 on that crank pulley. Your asking for BIG engine problems if your not prepared to keep the fuel up.
