  5. LoL theres even a guide to what to do in a free fall situation where no parachute is present.....
  6. Examples Tang Lee Ping Kuala Lumpur: In February of 2001 Tang Lee Ping of Malaysia fell 1,500 meters after her main and back-up parachutes failed to open. She woke up three hours later in a nearby hospital. Her injuries were minor (only bruises). She attributed her survival to God and a soft landing area. Sharon McLelland Queensville, Ontario, Canada: In September of 1994, McLelland's main parachute malfunctioned and she failed to deploy her reserve. Aided by the streaming parachute and a landing in soft dirt, McLelland's first reaction was to apologize to her instructor for not using her reserve. Craig Paton Auchterarder, Perthshire, Scotland: Paton's main parachute failed and so did his reserve. He fell 3,200 feet, landed on a grassy embankment, and suffered a severe chest injury. A newspaper account estimated his speed at more than 40 miles per hour. He was put in a drug-induced coma, but was expected to survive. There are several EXTREME stories too mostly from WWII era... Nicholas Alkemade In March of 1944, Nicholas Alkemade was the tail gunner in a British Lancaster bomber on a night mission to Berlin when his plane was attacked by German fighters. When the captain ordered the crew to bail out, Alkemade looked back into the plane and discovered that his parachute was in flames. He chose to jump without a parachute rather than to stay in the burning plane. He fell 18,000 feet, landing in trees, underbrush, and drifted snow. He twisted his knee and had some cuts, but was otherwise alright. The human body is an incredable thing....just can't seem to handle bullets real well...
  7. I dunno about dead...brain dead (before hand) and severly injured. I mean people have survived falls from many thousands of feet when their chute failed, BOUNCED and lived to tell the tale....(apparently going limp and landing on your back is the trick )

  11. I have talked to a guy who made some 200hp on a stocko charade carby (jetted up of course and tonnes of other work to the motor). They are aisans and are VERY similar to the stock corolla carbys. I would be aiming to get a twincarb manifold and running two of them. They also come with a nice carb bonnet with has a mounting point for a PSTCCHH gay valve.
  12. its still a camry
  13. Id work on wheel kw/hp figures. Flywheel figures are nothing but a guess unless the engines accually been on an engine dyno. But people seem to like flywheel figures for some reason? Larger numbers inflating their ego???
  14. oh man this is good. The teams are playing FIA for fools. I thought the rule changes were destroying the sport....and my suspicians have been confirmed with the first 2 drivers that were supposed to be qualifying completing an out lap then coming back in having completed NO qualifying lap (basically scrubbing tyres and checking the engine installation on Ferrari 1).... stupid FIA fools Then with the engine change, aero and tyre rule changes which were designed to SAVE money the teams went away over the off season and spent even more money on development and trying to figure out how to get these cars to handle with less aero, having one set of tyres to last a race and make an engine bulletproof enough to last two 18,000rpm engine killing race meetings....
  15. shumachers position now depends how tomorrows qualifying lap pans out. He could still come back strong. Certainly not pole unless everyone bombs out big time .....BUT GO MARK!!!!
