  1. Youtube, flash games, general chit-chat, whatever. Hopefully hours of things to occupy those big empty stretches through the holidays. I'll start off with this 7 part, 70 minute critique of The phantom menace. Funny even if you haven't watched it.
  2. Love the idea but I'm not sure how much material you'll be able to come up with. I struggle just finding enough time and interesting stuff to post much news on the front page. If you think you can get some good news going I'm happy for you to have a go as a news moderator (Rollaclub journo). I would absolutely love it if someone with an interest in journalism could do some car feature articles etc.
  3. Its been a pretty stellar year for Rollaclub. Really happy! Big thanks to everyone who comes here and answers questions, organises events or helps out in any other way. Even just welcoming the newbies, it all helps. Without you guys and girls Rollaclub would be an empty, soulless shell. Its great to see Rollaclub developing a real identity amongst the members. Huge thanks to the mods from me too. Its a seriously tough gig but they make my life that much easier leaving me more time to do behind the scenes stuff. Thanks guys! Heres to another huge year in 2010!
  4. If you hate tax that much, join the defense force.
  5. Its on the block, definitely. Almost every car will have the engine number on the block. Its stamped on a flat metal section and will look something like 4K5245897

  7. ?? lol
  8. I'm a little stunned that only one person has contacted me about this out of at least three I know of. I'd suggest the others contact me asap with the details of their dealings with him.
  9. Not keeping my email in check. Just cleaned out around 3000 messages from my inbox (most of it not spam) :locked: I've been using IMAP webmail so my housekeeping has been atrocious. Thunderbird3 seems nice.... the two rather bad crashes aside. Mind you one of them was when I was trying to move 1600 messages at once. Bad idea.
  10. I know you didn't write this but.... lol, what a load of utter crap. They have the pogos installed so you don't cruise around the airfield dragging a wing everywhere. Rather difficult to taxi and take off like that. The wings are more than capable of supporting themselves on the ground, otherwise they wouldn't be capable of supporting the aircraft while its flying. The outer tips of the wings have titanium skids installed so when the aircraft lands it just drags a wing until its off the runway and the pogos are reinstalled while the aircraft is stationary. They show this happening in the U2 part of the doco.
  11. The other part of the documentary is "James May at the Edge of Space" which covers the U2 flight more specifically.
  12. pr0n. can't wait to see this thing screaming through the forests.
  13. Yea chrome has the same thing. I do love the way chrome sandboxes each tab or a group of tabs. So if you have a webpage crash your browser you lose a couple of tabs that are easily relaunched not every single tab along with whatever else you were working on. And on firefox it may or may not restore your tabs after a big arse crash. I still recommend Firefox, its the best familiar alternative to IE. Chrome just isn't intuitive enough for average joe computer users. JiP, unless you've lodged a fault don't complain. Try to solve the problem before whinging about it.
  14. l2 update Chromes good but it feels more aimed at power users. Safaris fast if you can get used to the interface quirks.
  15. Is this our friend mr slidwayz?
  16. What the hell kinda browser and screen resolution are you using? Takes up a poofteenth of the screen for me and retracts as soon as I mouse off it. Whatever, I've disabled it... killjoys.
  17. Prophecy. One day Evan will get nicked for having both tail lights out and be fined and then whinge about it in this thread. Careful what you wish for!
  18. I _think_ Teddy has a KE70 kit. No idea where he got it...if hes got it.
  19. Hey, now theres an idea! We should do a list of engines and fitting difficulty levels for Corollas. 5K, novice. 7K, easy. 4A, easy to moderate. etc etc etc.
  20. Do you really think its a good idea to post that on a public forum?
  21. If they're plumbed back you really can't hear them.
  22. You'll have to out bribe him first. :D

  24. Considered Cosworth? They've really started to come to the show with tuner gear. They probably don't have the pistons you're after off the shelf but they're more than happy to make them. A guestimate price would be something like $1500-2000. http://www.cosworthusa.com/store/pc/viewPr...mp;idproduct=78 VQ35 pistons, yummmmmmmm :D
