  1. Get about 130hp out of one then theyre fun :)

I have seen that engine in the flesh its in a japanese toyota museum suppose to have 185 hp and i think they would have noticed it if i tried to put it in my pocket and leave with it :) when i was there they were also restoring a 2000gt awesome looking car that at one time held a world distance and speed record :)

  4. Obviously trying to put any leakage of ht to earth gawd knows why and the rocker alloy bits are rocker spacers instead of the standard spacer springs yes its an upright so`s the one on the left :)

Of course there is actually no such thing as a 4th gear as the hub locks the sleeve and locks the input and output shafts together to achieve 1 to 1 drive straight through the box.Yeah 2nd and 3rd gear in k series boxs get the teeth ripped of for sure but my mates building me a dog box sequential 5 speed in a k50 housing to go behind my new 180hp n/a 5k mwhaha :dance:
  8. Sr20det all alloy,light,so many japanese bolt on options, one over here making 780hp.
  9. I`ve pretty much got all the tosco/trd manuals a good guide but thats about all as the parts are no longer made.
  10. Chuck in a train horn (ala goodbye pork pie styles...loved that mini) in association with your klaxon and have a switch between the two so you can alternate i don't think anyone would miss you coming with a klaxon and a train horn :P :)

Getting a bit off topic but... a guy i know has got a 1UZ-FE with twin roller bearing turbos on it in an series1 rx7 it peaks out a hub dyno pretty easy at over 550hp at the wheels interesting thing is its still using std pistons and isnt intercooled,he`s now in the process of building a engine from the ground up with forgies ported heads and cams twin turboed and is going into an ae86 mid mounted :) As for 4age turbo in a ke70 check out Ginas time and the sr20det daty time i mentioned is on the same link.   12. There`s a daty 1200 coupe (rayglass car)over here sr20det with approx 780 hp at the crank i believe,[email protected] also know of a silvia sr20det powered circuit car thats dry sumped runs 30 pounds boost and is making close on 600hp.Go the nissans!
  13. If the idle solenoid wires fallen off it wont idle at all,might have a bit of dirt in the idle circuit.
  14. The tensioner is oil pressure assisted as well as using the spring for tension
  15. Yeah a ae86 lsd rear end will bolt into a ke70 driveshafts are different though/handbrake cables.In regaurds to t series axles there is a different spline count axle as well.

  18. You never know pull out the chokes/venturis and have a look and work from there,pretty hard to beat an isolated runner manifold setup for outright power fuel economy on the other hand is a different story :P
  19. Nah 45s would be fine just have to be choked/jetted correctly a mate of mines got 45s on a 3k,iv`e got some on my 4k no worries.

I used a 2e clutch plate in one of my ke20 upright 4k fits straight in,in the supercharged 5k ive got a double diaphragmed pressure plate and trd clutch plate (theyre still available).I`ve run t50s behind my 1430 3k race starly but lap times are slower due to the weight penalty of the t50 in it being approx 11 kgs or so heavier,but in respect to a rally car its a more durable option and worthwhile if you want to go close ratio.Keep up the good work :P
