  1. haha, thats not mine!!! havnt checked compression yet... I'm waiting on a compression gauge from a mate
  2. good door seals :lolcry: only time i got water in the cabin was when all four wheels were 8 inches underwater and i gave it a boot full, water came flying in off the rears through the open window lol
  3. 86% woot not bad seeings as I'm a chippie :lolcry:
  4. puddle? i like puddles too :) didnt get much rain down our way unfortunately, just been steady for the last hour or so. drying up now. no sign of a storm :lolcry:
  5. :P :D
  6. woot it might beat whitey back onto the streets yet :(
  7. excel rads. have a search on toymods, they will show u.
  8. maybe it just wasnt meant to be polished? it was never shiny to begin with, so it wont be splendid like your tips. maybe clean with thinners to strip anything off it and try but i don't rate your chances. just get it chromed, or get a stainless one in its place :D
  9. how clean was it?
  10. by baffle u mean the actual muffler yes? lots of polish, or get it chrome dipped maybe... or paint it...but that will look dodgy in a month or less I'm guessing
  11. never appreciated a car like that before. but wow, it actually looks bloody nice well done, and as a side note, i cleaned the interior of my ute today, and i even pulled the aircon apart and emptied the nature from it, and glen 20'd the system, so no more mildew with aircon, or baby puke smell everytime i open the door. can we get interior pics of your car? i ahve a feeling its gonna be a schmick as the outside
  12. and THAT is the reason i don't wash my cars. and that includes the ute i go 4wding in. mud half way up the doors. the cleanest it gets is when it rains and it turns to a yellowybrown stain on white. i painted my ke70, and didnt wash it for 12 months. i washed my 1g ke70 once. they only get dirty again, its a tedious pointless process. in my opinion no offence  but the shiny pics are always good :D
  13. lol, too much headf@$k....this K motor your planning will be worse. and yes you could even offset grind the crank to get an extra 2mm stroke, but are there any bearings that will fit it/
  14. TRD mirrors don't make objects in the mirror appear smaller than they actually are. they actually make objects in the mirror smaller :P
  15. yay for lsd
  16. yeah yeah yeah :lolcry: upload to photobucket maybe?
  17. put the handbrake on and try the brakes, if theyre still the same it isnt a problem with the rears. do this after having bled them. if theyre still the same after a proper bleeding, then i would suggest replacing the master, theyre only a bit over 100 and its good to replace them even if this isnt the problem. search about bench bleeding your new master cylinder before install, i had to do it in my ke70.
  18. a half running parts car and an alcoholic :lolcry:
  19. they don't know how, or don't notice you unobservant drivers are my pet hate. much more dangerous than speed is a woman doing 95, her makeup and jimmies year 3 homework on the motorway in the second lane, boxing in the car on her left who is trying to merge right to let in merging traffic.
  20. no, your car isnt big enough to make them let you in :lolcry: when i put my blinker on, people back off to let me in (in the ute this is) funny there are less deaths per capita in germany, they have frost, and snow and ice to contend with...and we struggle in rain...ughh i think its alot to do with old commos and falcons beings driven by young "hoons" (used very loosely) that try and take corners. it all goes pair shaped easily
  21. well arnt you just a ball of sunshine :lolcry: ill refer you to the example i made, they do a very good job of reducing people from 100 to 50 as they enter towns. and at the end of the day, drive 5k under the limit, rather than right on it, and you don't have to be staring at your speedo, as you know you have a buffer.
  22. driving to sydney i felt the fixed speed cameras in every town were very effective. usually in qld if I'm driving through country towns ill make a token gesture of slowing to 90kph, then going back to 100. heading down to sydney every town has a 50kph limit, and most have a fixed speed camera as you enter. well posted by 3 signs in a row, you know its coming and never get caught. you do however, slow down to 50 and toddle through the town at this speed. it makes for a much slower drive. but much safer town. it worked well in that case. well sign posted fixed speed cameras are a good way of reducing speeding in dangerous areas.
  23. hit it with a hammer! :lolcry:
  24. good post oh what a nissan, mikerolla, where are you from? to me, i would just start with a fresh shell. but if you want to spend heaps of money on this, then sure, go ahead and get it straightened.
