  1. G'day Jonny , wow nice 25 mate !!! Are you doing the corona/pug/hilux brake/strut conversion ? cause i'm about to try and fit that setup onto my KE25 and i'm a bit stuck as to what steering arms to use , let me know how you go with yours and what model sigma LCA's are you using . keep up the good work Mate :)
  2. Yeah i agree with Raven , mines all black and it looks aiight ! depends what colour your car is too . Dunno how black would go with that green colour of your car Jon ? i wunda how expensive it would be to get it properly chromed ?
  3. have you still got your KE20 ?
  4. Sounds like Rusty's misses dosn't like them , so they get the axe ;)
  5. FARK yeah , that colour is sexy , i haven't seen a car that it doesn't look good on
  6. i'm not sur of the Ke10 engine bay , but i'd say it would be quite small and you would be pushed for room . KE30's have a small diametre booster so do old datsuns ( 200b,180b) or you could look at doing a remote mount booster , talk to some performance brake shops
  7. I have just put these one's into my KE25 , haven't wired them up yet but will be soon , they should loook allright Headlights on e-bay with these you can just change the bulb , not have to change the whole thing over if the beam blows if the link doesn't work just try ' angel eyes 7" ' into ebay
  8. If your looking for another option , i was out at the wreckers last weekend looking for master cylinder for my KE25 and found that an 82 meteor (and laser) have the same vertical 2 bolt flange and the KE25 one has ( 60mm), it is also 13/16 instead of standard KE25 11/16 bore (1/8 bigger) and is dual circut . these are found mounted to a booster so they don't come with a push rod but i just took the one off the original master cylinder and found a washer to suit drilled it out a bit ( to fit the push rod through it , after i took the clevis off) fitted the pushrod to it
  9. G'day 7shades , when would this be happenning ? and can you send said cassie pics to me ? [email protected]
  10. did they need much modification to fit them Raven? from pics i've seen the RA60 strut has got a fairly big disc on it , that would brake well i reckon
  11. G'day mate , sound you gonna need some serious braking ? theres a few big brake options like ths corona strut/ peugeot(spelling) 604 disc/hilux 4 pot caliper combo which i'm about to attempt or theres a nissan skyline ( r31 i think ) option which i know one of the guys on Toymods is doing at the moment I think your best bet is to go onto Toymods website and do a search on there , i know for a fact there is a very comprehensive write up on the peugoet/corona/hilux setup at the moment , i'm going have just try and fail to find out which steering arms to use and how to fit it in properly . Unfortunatley theres not many easy options for brake upgrades for the KE2# series Lindsay
  12. good info man , have you used any of their rubbers ? are thay good quality and fit well ?
  13. that would be good but over here the enginners and R.T.A require that you replicate the brake system of the car that the donor engine came out of , unfortunatly anything that came out with a 4AGE came out with boosted brakes ( i think )
  14. Hey all , Merry Xmas and all that shit for the new year to everyone !!! Mark: Faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrkkkkkkk that one of the cleanest engine bays i ever seen with a k motor in it , nice work champ
  15. check out this guy's site too , he's got some good info on there : Lachies backyard performance
  16. G'day Jonny , for the clutch i'm using an AE71 clutch master in my KE25 ( installing a 4AGE) and all i did was Drill through the firewall inline with the clutch pedal and shortend the push rod for the master cylinder a little and its in and for the brakes i'm planning on using the standar master cylinder and using a remote mount booster and just boosting the front brakes , much like this hope that helps you mate , Lindsay
  17. Hey guys yeah those t3 coilovers look pretty good aswell , i'll prob get some of those aswell . i've already done my fuel system i've just got too wire it up and was wondering what size fuses to use in the wiring which 4AGE are you getting ? Hey James , got any pics of the beast mate ? i reckon a good colour on an old 20 would be the metallic orange that was on the starlets around 2000-2001 , with a white or orange pearl would look pretty good . what struts did you get ? are they coil overs ? chuck some pics up of them if ya can aswell mate . seeya , Lindsay
  18. So what is everybody up to with their rolla's ? anybody done anything good to theirs lately ? i'm waiting on som t3 adjustable strut tops coming from the usa , then i'm probably gonna get some coilovers (once i have got enough cash to burn). anybody using a surge tank in their rolla ? cause i got to wire mine up soon and i was wondering what size fuse's to use for the fuel pumps , so if anybody has done this let me know what size (20a,30a,40a) you used. Later fellas , Lindsay
  19. I reckon too much work for the same result as having outside surge tank , your lift pump is for sucking and works like a syphoning tube would , i use a CARTER lift (part number P4594 i think ) which has more flow than my high pressure pump(walbro external gsl394) so the high pressure pump won't drain the surge tank and leave the high pressure pump running dry . lift pump = 72 gallons per hour x 4 = appprox 280 litres per hour high pressure pump = 150 litres per house @ 30-40 psi saying all this i am still too run my fuel system but i had researched it a fair bit and it should work fine :P
  20. Nice one Brother , you got it engineered and everything ? looks mad !!! did you end up doing a front brake upgrade ?
  21. so even the metal fuel lines have to be replace for high pressure ones , i would have thought they'de good for at least 100 psi , cause i have just finished setting up the fuel system in my boot and i thought only the rubber lines needed to be replaced by high pressure ones . where do ya get high pressure metal fuel lines from anyway ? or would braided line be allright to run under the car ? heres a pic of mine Too quick

  25. Howdy folks , when haven't had much of a chance to look at my car lately but got a couple of things of ebay last week and devoted yestarday to working on the car , ended up getting the fuel system done and did a bit of paint work in the engine bay and fitted my thermo fan .
