  2. Yeah i'd be betting on needle and seat , i had it happen in my old cappella a couple of times , had fuel over flowing out the top of the carby
  3. Nothing wrong with tackle on Tate , if they take the big pay cheques then they have to take the big hits too

I got the stuff fro motorsport connections at seven hills , it's not cheap stuff but it will last for a long time and the guys are pretty helpful down there with a big range of stuff to i suppose you could incorporate an thermostat in there somewhere and i was going to wait and see what sort of temps it runs at before i get an oil cooler for it

G'day mate , i'm not too sure about the drums but thinking about it if you where to replace your drum braked struts with the disc braked conterpart ? sound logical but i haven't seen a drum braked front end on a KE2# before , if your interested i have a set of KE2# struts with discs and calipers and the also have height adjustble coilovers on them too , that i'm not going to be using , i think i'll put a for sale thread up tomorow , let me know if your interested in them
  6. Not bad at all , with loom, ecu and warranty , hopefully its a RWD on with the throttle body facing the right way , just cut and shut if not
  7. i will have to measure them but i think about 285mm , i asked him to make sure they'll fit under a 15' rim by the way John , where did you get the saab steelies from , i might need some when it comes to engineering CD_rollaman , i didn't see hid ke20 there but fark there was some cool cars there , like :datto 1200 wag rotary turbo , full tubbed drag setup rx2 and a ferrari ( 430 i think ) on the hoisst above that . needless to say i had wood in my pants

Oh the memories , i did something similar in my RX2 many years ago at the old eastern creek except it was my clutch pressure plate that exploded , shattered the bell housing snapped half the rear end plate of engine off , cut clean through the exctractors and very luckily only just cut into a fuel line but didn't go through the hose , was a long time till back on the road had to replace everything behind radiator back to tailshaft was quite expensive
  11. i got a 16v 4AGE , but i only got that cause it was cheap and allready setup for RWD , i think you can get the stuff to turn the 20v to RWD from this site P.A.S.S. racing or if your quick i'm think a dude is selling his RWD 20v on Toymods here it is RWD 4AGE 20v for sale w/associated parts

Hi mate , i just went to the closest guy to me (Terry Toohey his name is but he's a bit far fromyou i think ) they will charge you for their advice but well worth it mate i think an hour of his time was worth bout $100 , we spent the first hour talking about my car then i paid him and then he showed me his cobra rep. and we chatted for a couple more hours about that , he is a good guy

G'day Davros , i am putting 4AGE in my Ke25 at the moment , best thing i did was go and see an engineer ( they have a list of approved engineers on the R.T.A website )and get him/her to go through all the requirements needed , very informative found out some stuff i did no know had to be done. He was saying how alot of people go and do their conversions and then go and see him only to find out some of the Mods they have done and probably spent alot of money doing are illegal , had they gone to engineer first they could've avoid the haert ache and wallet ache

Allrihght i have finally soughted out my brakes and struts that will be used on the car , maybe a bit overkill for now but i will not have to do another brake upgrade on her again , turbo engine in the pipeline well here some pics of them they consist of KE25 struts with the hubs machined down to fit discs on , guy said they are VW jetta turbo discs with R32 calipers on them , work was done at Mr Enforcer engineering . i am very happy with the result
  15. Another good deal on at the moment is the runout lancer $19.900 , 2.4l mivec ( go's very well , very torquey ), suade/leather seats ,alloys and shit like that . my dad is buying one and we went and test drove one last weekend , i was quite impressed

  17. Hey peoples , i am looking at getting this kit :Battery reloc. kit just wondering if this is alot more expensive than getting parts individually for those who have done it allready , i've heard the cable is the expensive part

  24. You'll also need to run a high pressure fuel pump , either a in tank high press. pump or setup a surge tank with a lift pump and high press. pump
  25. I was afraid you'd say something like that ( steering arms)the KE3# ones don't sound to good , i might have a look at a few other cars one like datsun/early nissan and mazdas aswell , i'll let ya know if i make any progress
