I used to play the old one at the arcade after school, was pretty rad Quote
dbr11k Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Terrible physics but such a cool game! It would be sweet if the collaborated with the guys who made GRID and make an English version. Quote

ke70dave Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 ive been noticing recently a large amount of road rage, which seems to be fueled by pure impatience. i generally stick to exactly the speed limit, no more no less, if its 60 i do 60, if its 70 i do 70. seems to be alot of people that hate the idea of doing the speed limit, they MUST do 5km over. and if you are doing the limit, they stick on your tail untill they see a free opportunity and blast past, only to pull in front of you and do 5km over. not to mention it seems they hate the idea of NOT being in front, they want to be first and infront. this morning some muppet tailgating me in the 80km zone, it drops to 70, he tailgates worse, then proceeds to overtake over a painted "don't drive here" section (it was near road works, it was like an entry lane for trucks or something) blasts on past at warp speed, just about takes out the car merging on the other side (the reason it drops to 70....). What is wrong with these people? Quote
towe001 Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 Yep, noticed that myself when we was down that way yesterday. But the worst offenders was the typical late model camry (wide body onwards) drivers and mums with a kid in the back. Quote

Brake, accelerate, brake, etc. GET CRUISE CONTROL YA DUMBʇ~~ɔS or LEARN HOW TO DRIVE. #realtalk #swag Instead of endangering yourself, the people you are passing, oncoming traffic, pedestrians, cyclist, little kiddies chasing balls etc. why don't you back off 20m or so. It wont make any difference to your arrival time except that you wont be potentially putting some inocent person in a morge. I am also sick of my family being put at risk because of some tosser who can't stand to be stuck behind a people mover. If I am going under the speed limit, there is a ʞ©$ɟing good reason for it, so crawling over my arse and passing me in a built up area or passing me over a blind crest is just stupid. If people have a death wish, keep my family out of it. I'm just glad that I have had a bit of motorsport experience so I have been able to read situations and react accordingly to save people from pain. 1 Quote

Sounds like you need to chill out. Sure i hate people that can't keep a constant speed, but in the case above, i was keeping constant 80km/h on the dot. then 70km/h on the dot. and i know my speedo is accurate..... Going 105km/h, 5km over the limit, on a 100km trip, equates to a time saving time of 3mins. Quote

Sounds more like he needs to go back onto his L plates for a few years. The smart thing to do would be in hanging back a safe distance and pass them at a safe opportunity and not driving like a muppet hoping to give Darwin a helping hand in evolving the human species to a greater height of intelligence, cause at the moment at our level of intelligence you wouldn't be missed if you wrote yourself off. But, the other people you would have did in would be missed.... Quote

What is wrong with these people? Happens alot in Vic too!! It's worse when you have a car trailer on the back too!! Idiot in a golf yesterday couldn't wait 200mtr before the exit of the freeway..Nearly rearended them as they hit the skids to make the off ramp because of their impatience. Then proceeded to give me the bird, because it was my fault!!! Euro trash driving tard!! Quote
