webers4x48 Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 Its about time that I put my Little daily in the rides section. Its a 1987 AE82 Twincam seca. Engine: stock bigport mods: pod filter, 2 1/2" exhaust from the cat back with a 4" dump pipe (man its loud!), Kings superlow springs (soon to be upgraded to pedders), stereo to try and drain out the exhaust noise :) Quote

webers4x48 Posted November 7, 2007 Author Report Posted November 7, 2007 Wow, a FWD with tasteful wheels. I like them alot  ! thanks Teddy. They turn heads. I even had a bloke come up to me the other night and said that he loved the look of the car and asked if it was turbo'd, in which I replied "not yet but will be soon". Quote
webers4x48 Posted November 26, 2007 Author Report Posted November 26, 2007 I went on a cruise to Wilson's Prom yesterday with the CCCV (Classic Celica Club of Vic) and realized that my rear shockies/struts are stuffed. I copped alot of tyre-scraping-on-plastic action around tight corners and poor road repairs (bumps and dips). I have rolled the guards but the bumper where it joins the wheel arch is where it contacts the tyre. I took a visit down to the local Pedders, before I got the wheels, and have been quoted approx. $1000 to do front and back struts. I will only do the rears for now as I can't afford to do the lot in one hit. I'm thinking of changing the springs from Kings to Pedders as well, so I can get spring rate to match the shockies. A bigger sway bar will be on the list as well. LB Quote

What wheels are they, I like. thanks. They are ANZ Tazers 17x7. It took me a few months of research to decide on those ones and it has paid off  Quote
