The car is a 1970 KE11 2 door sedan. Bit of basket case when we got her, but it is slowly going back together. The plans are as follows: Engine: 4k, rebuilt, balanced, tighe 104 camshaft, twin aisan downdraught carburettors, elec dizzy, extractors, 2" straight through exhaust with 2" tip, between 10 and 11:1 compression ratio, lighter flywheel, not sure whether to go tosco 3.9kg or just machine the stock flywheel yet. Thermofan, probably a heavier alternator. polished aluminium bits. Gearbox/driveline: k40 out of ke55, standard ke11 borgwarner diff. couldnt help myself sold my ca18 ke30 and not even two weeks later found this and so the story begins. Bought it as a crahed car that looks like was owned by and elderly lady has about 110'000kms. Plans are either 3rz or 1jz depends which comes up for the right price wont be going anything to serious as was intended as a daily driver so maybe something around 300-350rwhp hopefully reliable. Diff is a early hilux 2wd the shortest or them which is only slightly longer than the standard corolla one so will fit without cutting, just had to move the spring mounts out 20mm each side. I love camping and I have alot of camping gear. Sometimes its a pain in the ass to load up the car with tent, gas bottles, lights, gazebo, camp kitchen, stove, BBQ, poles.... Etc. So... I bought myself a brand new 6x4 tradesman trailer. It has the lift top lids with gas lifters. I was going to store all my camping stuff in there and have it ready for whenever i want to go camping. I am looking for the man I brought this car off to ask some questions about the work done on the engine. I brought this car in 2010 from a man in Pimpama, QLD. The car had no plates and looked like it does in this picture. I am trying to find more information on what work they had done to the engine. Any help would be great. Cheers, Jamie

Hi all. Just joined and although not a corolla We hope you do not mind us posting our new project. 1977 LT 2000 RA28 Celica. Body and interior need a lot of work but it is a very solid car and undetneath is in excellent condition. Running the original 18RC and auto at the moment she drives really great. Looking forward to starting the resto early next Year.will be putting 18RG and 5 speed manual in (pic of the new motor )

So, I bought another ke10.. This now makes 4 ke1x chassis cars I own currently haha I'm not 100% sure of it's outcome currently but I bought it anyway.. the shell is quite rusty in the front and the rear end has had a lot of crash damage in the rear end and as a result has a lot of bog and misalignment.. I believe I'll use this a donor for my other green sedan.. see what happens!

Heyo, some of you might remember my Brown KE20 restoration, its finished and i traded it for this shitty supra... 2JZGE, s13 front suspension with coilovers and thats about it wiring was a mess, here i have cleaned the whole enginebay, painted the camcovers and claned the wiring a bit, you can see the ecu laying in the engine bay... good... parts... a month after i got it it spun a rod bearing, turns out the engine was really unhealthy, all the pistons was full of some stuff, i think its been runing on the cold start alot of the time or something.. the day before the engine started knocking ohh and did i mentio…

This is my ke30, owned her for 5 years and got me threw college as a collision tech. ... I bought it as a running project and every daily I had failed in one way or another but not my rolla! When there was 2 feet of snow on the ground she got me to work ( Ofcourse with falcon street tires I blew every stop light that winter in fear of not moving again) I'm now in a better position and want to take care of her as she did me. Very solid, very reliable... Lots to improve. Just got all guages to work and cleaned up engine bay.

It's gonna need some fender flares to keep the front tires from rubbing, so if anyone has any suggestions on what to go with for that would be spectacular.

Hi Everyone, I have just purchased a KE20 to restore and this is my first ever post. My front struts are leaking. Is it possible to buy inserts for these for i have to get them rebuilt. It has standard suspension and want to keep it this way. What sort of costs am I looking at?

So after my Skyline getting defected and it's slow transformation into something I'd want to drive ended. I decided I needed some new wheels. So, I went to look at a few BA's around the 8k mark and they were all pigs and the AU is butt ugly. I've always had a soft spot for the EF/EL's especially the XR. And when this came up at a caryard just down the road I almost creamed my pants. It's a EF Fairmont kitted up like a XR with all the XR goodies. This is my daily, its a 1983 ke70, Its got a rust & dent free body, & Has been resprayed in a metallic Green with flake, Its a home job, It isnt the best job but keeps it looking clean. My plans are to tidy it up, Change it from auto to manual, & Later work the 4k. but right now its just a Reliable daily. Although i do have a few plans for it.

After a year and a half of searching and waiting I have finally got my first corolla! Its a 1984 KE70 Wagon. Picked it up for $600. The aim at this stage is to fix it up to road worthy and use as a daily. Down the track though I plan to give it an engine upgrade though. Still haven't decided between a 4AGTE or a CA18DET. I will upload some photos as soon as I can and you can see the work in progress.

hey guys, i brought this around 3 weeks ago for $500 in the condition of whats in the pics. it has a 4k engine and a 4 speed manual. i currently have it at the mechanics getting all new seals and gaskets and a full service. it has 15" dished meshies on the front and only stockos on the back (if someone has 15"meshies forsale please let me know). the interior is pretty stuffed but what can you expect from a 26yo car. i have just brought replacement carpet, new racing seats, 4" dished omp steering wheel for it and i'll upload all the pics when i get it done when it gets back from the mechanic. its slammed on its ass however i really want adjustable coilovers for it as i ha…

Had this for 6-ish months. The wifes car. She inherited it from her Gran who has had it since new. Obviously being a Nanamobile its a 1.6 Auto! We've left fairly well alone as the car is very original. Garaged its whole life. I've had tints put in, fitted a 200w Sony head unit, scored the alloys from a fellow Rollaclubber in Brizzy (sorry -- forgot your name), Euro wipers, removed the Crime Scene Investigation decals and thats it.
