  1. i am aware of this. more info required. googling for "cricket" is inconclusive
  2. try ausrotary. you could also probably get one off mazdajon who writes the japanese restorer, or he could point you in the direction of someone who can get you one www.japaneserestorer.com.au
  3. some diffs are some diffs arent. may have something to do with year, but it's hard to tell what's original on a 20+ yearold car. luck of the draw
  4. read the posts: A GEMINI FILTER DOESN'T FIT A MAZDA CARBURETTOR :(
  5. i have the exact same kit :(
  6. pinto donk would probably be a bit heavy. if you were going to go to all the trouble of a 2 litre, you'd do something which actually made the car fast i raced my KE25 with a dude who had a MK2 RS2000 and we were dead even, and i had two people in the car and a stock carby that being said, yes you certainly can build an off its tits 2L and make power levels that K motors only dream about, and there's plenty of good david vizard books with head porting templates etc the dude i bought my 25 off used to have a KE30 with an L20B in it, and he said it totally hauled ass driver side exhaust would suck tho, you'd never get it to clear the steering box
  7. hey um, stupid question what is that car?
  8. air lockers and such are legal, landcruisers come out with them. but it wouldn't surprise me to learn they're legal because you can turn them on and off from the cabin, and the "locked" setting is intended for off-road use only i also wouldnt try driving it round with it locked because it would be a total pig in a fourby and is probably grounds for a neg driving fine
  9. they're in the faq
  10. how ironic, there's a dellow kit to put a 4k into a sierra too! nice pic :(
  11. yeah but last time i checked, S2000s didnt have carbs i dunno about stock, but 300+kw isn't unheard of out of those little renault turbo motors like in R5s bmw did get over 1000hp out of race M10 motors but they ran mechanical injection
  12. go to the wreckers and get a filter housing off an 808? failing that, you could probably find one on ausrotary for a few bucks
  13. buy a large calico wheel for the bench grinder, makes big jobs like this heaps easier :( of course you need to own a bench grinder first lol, perhaps you could thread one onto an angle grinder?
  14. buy a 3hp compressor kit with spraygun and some paint. now practice. that's about all you're going to get for a grand mate
