  1. Thats not a fishing trip Strugey!! ;) I'll bring: 2 piece Surf rod maybe 2x, 6.5' 1 piece bait rod, 7.2' 1 piece procoster, 6.5' 2 piece Tierra and maybe a couple of "squid rods" for good measure! :hmm: Anyone got a shark line? hehe
  2. You've seen Mr Leno's have you? I thought it was a bit easy but chucked it up anyway.
  3. Well you answered your own questions so we don't seem to have a current guesser....... Clue in a couple of hours in no-one has it. :hmm:
  4. ;) You guys really don't know how much I like my fishing!!! I was thinking about bringing a rod down to Bridport for a half hour flick but didn't want to be anti-social! ;) I could suggest a lot more spots around the state, but I think you're pretty well spot on the money there mate! :hmm: In terms of a time frame frankly I think Spring may be better for a couple of main reason: 1, It'll just be too damn cold for camping/night fishing (we can't NOT try and catch sharks!!!) during winter 2, We can set a date (maybe even on a long weekend) waaaay in advance. This way everybody knows when it is and has ample time to arrange there self with time off work, other commitments etc. 3, I'm not holding my breath but Mud might be finished by then!! Oh, and anybody who keen on surfing don't forget to bring a board as there is some pretty good waves out there too! .....or you can paddle out some shark baits! :P We could also make a bit of a cruise of the trip too. Say head out via Sidling/Scottsdale/NE to St Helens (will have to calm down on the sidling with cars loaded with camping gear though) and then return through St Mary's/Conara. So what I want to see from everybody now is: 1, Suggestions of other spots we could go - Binnalong is in no way set in stone! 2, Suggestions on possible dates during Spring. Personally later Spring would probably be a bit better for me. For anybody who doesn't know yet Katie and I have our first rug-rat dues in mid August (if anybody's been wondering what my avatar is) so I better not take off fishing and camping too soon after that. Cheers, Si.
  5. Off topic, but.... The 'wrap around' bars are not just on the XX's, they were also on the late CS ke55'S.
  6. Certainly can. I put up an EOI in the for sale section last year about a group buy. Have a quick search (under my username) and find it as I listed RRP and group buy prices. They're not that cheap, but are quality Toyota parts - I know Jip would attest to this. :hmm:
  7. I'll confirm that for you vagen... http://images.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=...v%3D2%26hl%3Den .....so now its your turn! Intersting to see what rare/weird cars an american might come up with. :P
  8. P1800.........? You're a smart Arse Hiro!! :P
  9. ....so must be my turn again......
  10. I was going to give somebody else a chance, but if you're gunna be like that then: Its a Funke and Will YES! Roaster. :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvzNt733Ivs
  11. Try stock brakes + 4x stock power!!!! :P The smell in the Sidling carpark had dissapated by the time you got there. Ask Casey what mine smelt like!
  12. Exactly!!! If you have a ke20/25 why not just build yourself a TE27! :P
  13. Turbo seal won't make it not start. Like Philby said will just make a smoke screen!! Hell it'd probably still *idle* will a siezed turbo!!! "Not starting" is a pretty broad problem. We're not going to be able to help you unless you give us a bit more info....... on the situation, not the car in general. :P
  14. "cheaterlol" :P
  15. haha, yeah I know, I'm just lazy!! :hmm: Well its definately not the deisel....... so how many rotors has it got!? :P
  16. Alright sparty pants......... 2 part question: What model of car is it? What type of engine did it have?
  17. If I can get away with my car then I don't think you should have too much trouble. :jamie:
  18. Leave the CR, it'll be about the same as both Matt's and my engines. Maybe into the high 7 to 1's, but you might as well work it out properly while you have the engine(s) apart. As for the APR's Ihad a hell of a time trying to get some. They came from the States via NZ! Only Toyota that APR list in Aus for head studs is a 7mgte....... :jamie: I wonder why!!
  19. Yeah it'll run without it, just not the best. I reckon its worth tapping a fitting into the manifold now while you have it off the engine. :jamie: If you don't want to have to buy a tap etc then just take it to ranken and bond on the corner of George and Cimitere and they could do it for you.
  20. Hey buddy I've got a "clutch locating tool" you can borrow. Its an input shaft out of a busted k40, come round and grab it if you want. :jamie:
  21. Nah thats 4KE EFI from a starlet. I've got the 7KE EFI from a KR42R Townace van on my turbo 5k. :jamie: ....and I've got a 13bbp aswell!
  22. Hey buddy. You sure picked a good week to ask about a cruise!! :jamie: As Ben said we're having one on Sunday through the Sidling to Bridport and home through Piper's River. ....Oh are you in the North or South? Talk to ya in the Tassie section, Si.
  23. Nearly Ben, its a 4KTE!!!!! :hammer: Thats just the stock 4ke runners. Also re mazdaspeed sticker - knowing what kiwis are like given the modgies and the dumpy I say its got some brappage. :y: Nice cars BTW.
  24. There would be some sort of auto you could get out of a townace, and cause they have a bonnet and conventional'ish car layout the gearbox is pretty normal aswell. Ie not column shift. I really want to find it for my project and would be happy to do you some scans. Think an x flat mate might have taken it with him. ;)
  25. Swcheet. You can take me for a hit then and I'll take you for one. Don't think you've been in it sice the EFI etc have you? Got it back together the other day with the T25G back on, had to wind the boost controller back down a bit cause it hit 18+psi a couple of times! ;) Gotta pull my gilmer back off today though as its still leaking from the front main. ....but yeah, I'm still good to go for the cruise. :D
