Just use the motor thats in there dude! I highly doubt you'll kill it! :jamie:
The Fumey 4k bottom end in Dirt is the ex-turbo 4k that spend 2 years boosted, seeing up to 20+psi.
I just chucked a 3k head, carby and set of extractors on it and away she went again!
nice pic from the weekend's shoot....
Sure do.
However, this did cost me a little bit for Adam's time/petrol (he spend over 2 hours editing it last night).
Does anybody think it would be unreasonable if I was to say you can have a high-res (5.66MB!!!!) copy for like $5!?
FYI, the stickers that I also handed out FOC, cost me $5 each! :jamie:
Got the pix last night. Main one looks tops, zoom in on the background and it looks like an oil painting! :jamie:
I'll upload a low res version soon.
Maybe worth saying that Tar is now about as hard to drive with the cam/lightened FW/button clutch as my RX4 thats bridge ported, and has a button clutch.
And the corolla is EFI and the mazda has 5" tall Italian with a bucket, commonly known as an IDA weber!!!!!
Modify any car with things like light FW's, buttons, cams/porting and you will always reduce general drivability.
Fitted an S14 T28 with the .64 rear housing on Saturday.
The .64 makes general off-boost cruising duties a bit easier, and dare say more fuel efficient.
Spools at maybe 3500rpm, rather than 2500rpm. Gate pressure is at a lazy 8 psi and feel pretty pathetic compared to the T25G at gate pressure(10psi). Yeah maybe I'm making more top end power, but doesn't seem worth it without that BIG .48 push in the back!
Flick the switch and its a bit better! Data logger says I maxxed 14.4psi so I've got it set pretty well for the ceramic wheel. :(
Just keeps pulling harder and harder through the revs......don't think I've seen the shift light this much for a while! :bash:
Hoping to get it back out to the dragway this weekend if I'm lucky and then the proof will be in the pudding...or ET maybe. :y:
Hatetread for all things deisel is a Top Gear trade mark I reckon!! :bash:

watch the first 40 seconds. :( Whole vid is worth a look if you've never seen it....Jemery even cries at the end of it!! :y:
Hey buddy, I had a re-sleeved clutch master in my rx4. Started leaking again about 3 weeks after the re-sleeve. Bought a brand new one from Sparco for like $80 and have not had an issue since in the last 6 odd years!!
Highly recomend just buying a new one. :bash:
Suck/draw through only reqires a conventional carby fuel setup as none of the fuel system in under pressure.
Provided the pump you are using can still supply the AMOUNT of fuel you need at full power. :bash:
Something like a holley red, or carter green would be plently on a K motor.
Also use a good regulator, which obviously doesn't have to be a rising rate.
Hot clearances are 8 thou inlet, and 12 thou ex.
Don't know cold sorry, but just do it to these, warm her up and re-check them. Shouldn't be too far out, and it will run. :y:
And the old girl got thrashed up the midlands to make it to the calender photo shot. He was about half our late, but made it in time. :D
Love your sticker work on her too Nick. Liked the "turn" on the hand brake, and "panic" and "eject" on the passenger door were hilarious!!! :y:
thanks to everbody that showed up! :y:
Was a bit better turn out than what I really expected.
Photo's will be edited (he actually took panoramics of 6x pictures to be joined up) and hopefully will have some back in a couple of days.
Had a long day yesterday, but finally got a T28 fitted and I'm going again. :y:
Didn't want to bring dirt as a back-up! :D
Will give her a good wash this arvo and off we go.
I reckon we can have the cressy in the pic Casey. Might just stick it up the back. :D
Nice work. :D I should send mine over for you to re-paint! :D
So are you going to put a tacho in the right hand side hole like mine? As I noticed you've got both a fuel level and water temp guage in the console.
Tip if so - If you also want to retain an oil pressure and charge light just use some short self tappers and drill then through the circuit board sheet thingy, through the appropriate circuits. Put some ring terminals under the self tappers and run some wire to a new light somewhere in the dash. :y:
Hey Dan, just bring it anyway and we'll have a look at it for you. :y:
Bit of condensation id nothing to worry about if the car/engine has sat for a while. Ben didn't drive it much did he?
:y:
Sutton is all good. He's going to meet me at my house at 4:30. Kye is also bringing his patrol out so he can sit on top.
Anybody in town is more than welcome to meet up here at 4:30 too and we can cruise out together.
