Its to heat the inlet for cold starting/running Yeah if you wanted to use a stock exhaust manifold with say a side draft inlet, you would have to make a steel plate to cover the hot box flange.

Which gasket have you ordered? Highly recommend changing the flange gasket, hot box gasket (where inlet and ex mani bolt together) and manifold gasket all at once for piece of mind. Would be nothing worse than doing one of the 3, and then having to do one of the other 2 only weeks etc after. Be careful doing the hotbox gasket though as the bolts have a tendancy to snap. Also track yourself down a Permaseal EM30 1-piece manifold gasket. They last over 3 times longer than an ACL etc 2-piece. :)

Yeah they say some form of exercise befor bed is a good idea. I can recommend something other than lifting weights though!! :bash: If that fails..... :) :)

Is it deffinately the charge light not the oil light? Low oil level could cause this. If it is the charge light, check the amount of acid in your battery. It could be so low that ever time you pull a poofteenth of a G the battery electrodes are out of the acid!

Wouldn't the .48 be a bit restrictive to be running that much boost? Yeah it'll spool quick as hell, but might still run out of chuff in the top end. I'm havinvg the same sort of problem at the moment with a .48 on a T25G, but I'm only running <14psi cause of the ceramic wheel.

You're not going to get an effective forced induction tune with a stoko 4ke ECU. And you'll need bigger injectors etc which will throw it out even further. Just get an aftermarket ECU and you don't have to use an AFM then. :)

Aftermarket 5k piston on the left (ACL etc), original toyota one on the right. Most of the aftermarket pistons have around 6cc of dish, where as the toyota ones are 22cc. So even if using a 4k head on the 5k you really want the deep dish pistons for low comp....... |blink|

Yeah try second gear at that speed. :( and just hold it flat after you turn the key off. My mazda shoots awesome flames too. I'll have to get a good vid of them one day too. :o always sets off car alarms just putting past. |blink|
