don't worry too much about what toyota tell you in regards to coolant hoses. Try you local auto shop. I brought down every single coolant hose from my ae82 to them and said i want these. They couldnt help me. WTF!!!

When i was saying get rid of the wiring. I was meaning in the bay only and if you can disconnect it do that and keep it aside. if noy pull it through the firewall and tape it up in a round bundle. don't cut anything just yet until your ready to wire.

Dude save your self some time and effort and just go get some 90 degree silicon bends. Cut out around where the bends go. Glue some vaccum hose split down one side on the cut metal and enjoy.

Just to bump and old thread with a quick question. Why should the shield not be earthed? It shouldnt be on either end? ECU or dizzy/cas end. Thanks. Adam
