  1. Read the DATE the LAMS laws changed after that, You have to hold your L's for a year before you can do the test unless Q-ride is full of shit but luckily I held my bike L's for 10 years, Instead of sitting here listening to someone that did the test and read the rules in the last week that is wrong get on the phone and find out.
  2. Ha, Jarred you always have a good answer.
  3. Wrong, You HAVE to carry your L's for a year before you can even go for your P or Open's through Q-ride or anything like that and that allows you to ride a LAMS bike up to 660cc, Once you have carried your P or Opens for a year you can then go back and do the course again on a large bike and get your unrestricted license, I did my Q-ride on saturday, I went to Tony's Rider & Driver Training - 0437724665, He is located in Ipswich, The course cost $295 BIKE'S YOU CAN RIDE Q-RIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS I am also glad that I got my bike when I did as it was LAMS approved, Now it is not but I got it before the latest rule change.
  4. I hate v8 super cars at bathurst as everyone thinks that it is holden vs ford, IT IS NOT, It is driver vs driver, The only way that it could be holden vs ford is if they were off the floor cars, Look at it this way: Everycar weighs the same, Has the same power, Same gearing, Same chassis so why does everyone break out with the holden and ford shirts when it's on and also with all the shit that goes on around the time of it (spectators caught with pig spears etc) they never say about banning it, Do it anywhere else like a burnout comp and it's all over. All a bit gay if you ask me.
  5. Is the turbo low mount cause I can't see it.
  6. Riiiiiiight...
  7. It might be Cuban Boy.
  8. Oooh nice, They are a de-tuned R1 (about 10hp), Would be fun.
  9. Went and did Q-ride yesterday and passed so tomorrow I am going in to qld transport to get my opens, Today I thought I would do some tidying up on it so I removed the rear guard as it gives it a far more sportier look and hit the exhaust can with some autosol and repainted the tip. Before: After:
  10. Pics of BIL bike?
  11. I didn't even get home till just after 7 last night, There was no way that I was able to go.
  12. I myself have never seen a letter with "IN CONFIDENCE" next to the date, As soo as I seen that I thought it was bullshit.
  13. Sweet, Sounds like the cappuccino's rival.
  14. They rang my cousin om his mobile one day when we were at work and they said they were in Brisbane, So he said oh so your in Brisbane, Sydney Australia, They said yes so he laughed and hung up.
  15. I have driven JZA80 supras and you hit your head on the roof before you can see infront of you.
  16. What the hell is that subaru copy, At 1st I thought it was a suzuki cappuccino but the roof looks too high.
  17. Your boat will be safe :D IIRC it was 120kg's, I may be wrong.
  18. And it is also at the treads of a car that the koreans use as a buggy behind their horse.
  19. Nah, My course is from 7:30am till 4:30-5 (dunno why), I reckon i'd be too tired to do a 1hr< ride or drive.
  20. No go for me, I'm doing my bike license test on saturday and it's an all day thing so I won't really be up for driving.
  21. Looking good Cam, What else you got left to do?
  22. But if you drill it through into the intake itself then when the throttle is closed the engine will be under vacuum.
  23. I was doing some research myself the other day on cut and shut manifolds and noticed that when this is performed the pcv into the intake is blocked off as they run through the manifold and out into the throttle body. This means that the engine will not be venting unless you have a vented catch can or have stupidly drill a hole through the pipe and into the manifold.
  24. I think i have a spare one, i shall check in the next day or 2.
  25. Standard exhaust and air filter, I just don't think it was ever tuned for Australian conditions.
