2 of the ECU's I have I know work, 1 is from my own car and the other car was purchased by a mate or the engine and we drove it, I have just never tested the other one.
Well I have 2 harness and ecu combo's here, one I will be using on one of my projects and the other I am not sure how good it is but I do have another twincam 82 that I will be stripping as soon as I get it here.
Take the dizzy out and rotate it one tooth clockwise, line up the crankshaft to oil pump dot, make a new mark on the pulley at zero to the timing marks and recheck it all.
You can use what you want but I will use what is on the cap and always will but I was taught that by proper workshops.
Oh and look, another brake fluid spec that states the same.
This has recently been proven which is why they didn't go through with the phase out of DOT 3 fluids and which is why it is more common to see it on shelves now than what it ever has.
