    Buy a stuffed twincam for around 500 bucks and convert it over.

    I did my old AE71 for under 5k and that was with 45mm webers, hyperpak, all brand new rwd setup including under drive pulleys, manual conversion and gearbox freshen up, wheels, lowered springs and upgraded front brakes,I believe that all that had to be finished when I sold it was mount the fuel pump and fix the exhaust. And this was including buying a near perfect ae71.

    Yes, any decent toyota parts interpreter will not need your vin to do it, flex plate ones are also shorter.

    If the blower I got fitted in the 82 sedan of mine then I would have never got another 71.

    The GZE only turns on the charger at a specific throttle percentage (not sure what it is TBH), the mr2 I had only seen boost when I was taking off or giving it a boot, the rest of the time it was doing it's own work.

    How hard was it to get that metalcast off?

    Because there is nothing wrong with an AFM, will be easier to get an afm than to get another harness and ecu unless you go aftermarket which will be easier to fit.

    You could use the late ae92 gtz harness and ecu but I would be inclined to use the afm.
