You hit them on the top with a hammer and it increases pressure but don't do it. Thought you were using aftermarket pumps. Plenty of external pumps that that lift and supply pressure.

You can use a FWD 'C' series gearbox clutch fork, I had to do this for a mates 86.

Brown on brown is the goods. The truck reversed back beside my ute as he was going to load the other side, when he drove forward he turned too sharp and collected the front end between the rear wheel and the wall bumpers (think that's what they are called), ended up having to get the forklift under the truck to get the ute out and gave the guard a heave so I could drive it as the wheel was exposed. As Luke said, it is just a hot box pipe, on cold starts the intake air is re-routed and taken from this pipe to help with cold running, once the engine gets up to temp the air flap is closed off and is taken from the intake pipe instead.

When installing head bolts you are applying a twisting as well as an upwards motion to the thread, this can damage the threads (like trying to put a bolt into an exhaust on an aluminum head instead of a stud), by installing a stud the breaking force is applied to the stud which is why they are screwed in finger tight.

22B is the shit. Can't with the turbo motor. Few tips to look after it and help your pocket: Just don't get too carried away on the launches as they are known to break gear boxes fairly easy. If the center diff starts clicking (fairly common) then don't take it to subaru, they take the gearbox out (well they used to anyway) to replace it and this costs a shit load, you can do it in the car and the last one we did was $1600 supplied and fitted. Also if you have the subaru brant keypad installed then don't get out of the car with it running then get in it to take off, it goes into high-jack mode and shuts it off, you just have to re-enter the pin and start it, they also have some issues with self immobilizing. Do you know if the servicing has been upkept with subaru upper engine cleaner? having it driven around by an old lady has probably gummed it up a bit. Other than that it is good to see a pre bugeye wrx in top shape, prefer these over the bugeye as these look better and feel a lot better. Would love one in cool grey with white enkei t2's.
