22B is the shit.
Can't with the turbo motor.
Few tips to look after it and help your pocket:
Just don't get too carried away on the launches as they are known to break gear boxes fairly easy.
If the center diff starts clicking (fairly common) then don't take it to subaru, they take the gearbox out (well they used to anyway) to replace it and this costs a shit load, you can do it in the car and the last one we did was $1600 supplied and fitted.
Also if you have the subaru brant keypad installed then don't get out of the car with it running then get in it to take off, it goes into high-jack mode and shuts it off, you just have to re-enter the pin and start it, they also have some issues with self immobilizing.
Do you know if the servicing has been upkept with subaru upper engine cleaner? having it driven around by an old lady has probably gummed it up a bit.
Other than that it is good to see a pre bugeye wrx in top shape, prefer these over the bugeye as these look better and feel a lot better.
